Hey Tommy,
I feel the same way about yt..I write a fictional story, and every one of them gets demonitized almost immediately.. I am at the the point where I just want to pull the plug on yt. I have a handful of subs that enjoy the story and consistently leave encouraging comments. That makes me want to stay..I tried Patreon but getting traction there is slow. Steemit has potential, IMO, but its hit or miss. It all comes down to who upvotes. One post can get 36 upvotes and earn 6 cents. Another can get 8 upvotes and earn $10...the potential is there but inconsistent...Im putting in the time and staying with it. Its hard not to get discouraged but im hoping it will pay off..God bless Bro

Hi @timmo3663, yes steemit is very up and down. But it does gradually build up if you are able to build a network of supporters.

It is a slow burn, but I think worth it in the end.

I spend a lot of time commenting on other people's posts and chatting in Discord. It takes time but it does add a whole extra dimension to steemit.

Totally enjoying your EMP Survival Chronicles series.

Thanks @pennsif. I try to interact through the comments. Im not aware of discord? Still finding my way around. I appreciate your support with your upvotes and comments. God bless

Hey Tommy just coming over here to show some support on this platform. Who knows this may be the new Youtube because it cant last forever the way they are treating the content providers. Im still trying to figure this platform out. There are just somethings on here that ro me make it hard to find the people you want to watch. Anyways take care buddy.

Thanks so much. I appreciate it. YT is killing itself because it is killing the people that create content. Well, at least a segment that they don't seem to care much about. As more creators come here I think the people that like their content will also come.

Hey Tommy,
(I'm Aloha over there). This morning, your live broadcast was at the top of my "Recommended" list. The thing is, I rarely see your videos come up to the top anymore. I am thinking this is the problem with your view counts. I've never actually used this platform, I just came over here because you suggested it this morning, so I don't really understand how it works, but just like Patreon, you're still stuck using YT platform? Do the views here count for your views on YT? Sorry for all the questions, just trying to understand the deal here.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm starting to like this platform more and more.

Even as a mod for him at yt I did not get notified...

Hi Tommy, keep with it on steemit. It can be a slow burn but it does build with time.

The key point is to interact with people on the platform. Vote and comment on other people's posts. Join a Discord channel or two.

You could even run a radio show on MSP Waves radio or YouAreHope.

That will all build a network and a following which will gradually build up your post rewards.

And do please add a few paragraphs of text with each post to cover the key points of your videos. Many people won't spend the time watching a 10, 20, 30, 40 minute video if they don't know what it covers.

Thanks. I will check it all out.

Tweeting this out!

Done and done. Thanks!

Tommy do not upvote the spammers...Reputation numbers (low number) (beside the name tells you this bot has been flagged)... You waste your voting power on them.

How do you get reputation and what does it mean?

You are given the rep of 25 when you signed up, as you make comments or put your blog your rep number grows. When you see a rep below 25 it tells you they are a spammer or have been flagged (most times because they do nothing but beg for followers)
