As I was meditating on a Hymn, 'Our God, Our Help in Ages Past..... wondering and, at the same time, excited of His Goodness over us year to year; I then, suddenly saw the Redeemed Christian Church of God Monthly Program - Holy Ghost Night on the Television - the Mass Choir singing the Hymn. Am not going to be writing about the Hymn today, but the message from the Man of God.
The Man of God, Pastor E. A. Adeboye talked on Swimming in Glory as the theme. He then asked, Everlasting Glory or Everlasting shame, which one do you want? He warned and encouraged those who are still thinking of whether to serve God through Jesus Christ or not, to make a decision by making an Altar call. He went on to say that "you cannot swim in Glory when you are still living in sin".
He said everyday, we draw close to the end of our life's journey. Hence, one is asked "how old are you?" and not "how young are you?"
The man of God says, there has been confrontation between Light and darkness from the beginning. If you must swim in Glory, you must quit sin.
To be continued
Thanx for your time.
