Mahashivaratri (My Journey)

These yellow and red cloths people u can see in all north india from this monday to next one month. These huge people are called Kambadiyas.
From this monday a indian festival is celebrated for next one month called #Mahashivaratri. it is celebrated in honour of the god #Shiva.

Mahashivaratri means '' the great night of shiva''. the ardents devotes keep awake all night others visits one of the shiva temples or go on pilgrimage to jyotirlingams. unlike most hindu festivals which are celebrated during the day, but the mahashivaratri is celebrated in night. The celebration includes maintaining a ''jaagran'' an all-night vigil and prays, because shaiva hindus mark this night as ''overcoming darkness and ignorance'' in ones life and the world through shiva. offerings of fruits, leaves, sweets and milk to shiva are made. in shiva temples '' om namah shivaya'' the sacred mantra of shiva is chanted through the day.
Last year i was go to bring holy water to offering lord shiva with my two friends with bike.

we started our journey at night 9'o clock and reached to our destination at 3'o clock in the night. it was a very good journey because many people go to bring holy water with us. they used loud music called #DJ on their vehicles and playing lord shiva's songs. Near the destination thaeir were world's large traffic occur. during this traffic it takes 3 hours to cross the road only 1 km. we started returning with Holy water at 5'o clock in the morning. in the route many holy people distributed tea, fruits, samosa and many other things to us at free of cost.

when we reached, then we go 9 temples of lord shiva which are situated in #Nathnagri i.e #Bareilly city.
in one temple their is a large shivling of lord shiva, many people walk around the shivling.
Now this year we also prepare a plan to go bring holy water with friends and DJ bearing yellow and red clothes.
