Most people have certain things they do every year to celebrate Christmas. I bake sugar and gingerbread cookies, take the kids to see the lights, and watch Die Hard while wrapping presents.
You heard me right- DIE HARD. It is a totally legit Christmas movie, taking place on Christmas Eve and packed with Christmas tunes (including Run DMC’s Christmas in Hollis). I watched this movie a lot as a kid and gives me the same feelings that movies like the Grinch and Home Alone give other people.
What are your Christmas traditions? Normal or otherwise?
Ahaha awesome!
I am from the UK. When I was a bit younger (back in the 1990s) Christmas Day meant a new feature length episode of comedy sitcom Only Fools and Horses. It is probably the funniest TV show ever. It is about a market trader and his strange family. They did try to run it in the USA, but I believe nobody understood the English slang.
I will have to try and find this!!! Thanks for the recommendation! I LOVE BritCom. As Time Goes By was fantastic. And, in my opinion, Coupling was the funniest TV show ever!
Oh yes, Coupling was great. It was like Friends, but for adults.
:-D
