This is the perfect time of the year to create your mini garden inside. What kind of garden depends on you. What would you like? Something fun, serious, colorful, or just plant and see what happens. Some of my fun favorites is the fairy gardens. Everything is so small and looks just like the fairies created it. You can add as much or as little elements to your plant material to give it just the look you want. Garden centers have a grand selection of these small house plants that make a perfect landscape for your indoor garden. These can also outside in the shade when summer is here. Just be sure and protect them from direct sun or too much heat, and be sure to water them when they need it.

You can lose yourself here just imagining sitting on the lounge chair, walking the paths, doing a little weeding, or chatting with the neighbors. That is what makes these gardens so fun and delight the eyes that see them, especially children. If you want to get the kids involved in gardening this is a fun way to entice them into playing with the garden. You can talk about the dirt needed, names and types of plants, what do the plants need, and on and on.

On a more serious or ornamental note there are many to create. You need to decide if you wish to hang them, create a pot scape, or a terrarium. Consider where to you want to put your new creation is always a good place start. How much light do you need and is it in a place easy to get to so you can water it? This hanging garden can go just about anywhere you want to add some green to your space.

It is fun to be creative and work at doing something new. There is no limit to what you can create or what your creation and be put in. The indoor mini gardens give you an opportunity to see what makes you smile. Thinking of that, this is something new that made me smile. What a creation this is. The best part is that you will not have to worry about over watering it.
