Music on Vinyl part 1

Hello dear and abandoned followers.

Preamble

After going through many calamities to get some electricity and the latest internet service 🛜 now I can continue posting as I usually did for years.

I have been very busy working on various projects. One of them is Vida Verde that my life partner @cvnuitter has been talking about in her publications.

While I pay off my debt with @hivewatchers, by the way, one of the biggest misunderstandings that has happened to me in my life. I will proceed to bring high quality publications again as I have always acted before this honorable community.

My affinity with Hive is intangible and it is necessary to continue on my path until the skin lasts as we say in Venezuela.

Music to enjoy

It is natural that music is part of our lives and even more so with all the cultural tradition that it means. Since ancient times, humans have made music from the legendary Chinese songs created by Xinifu, the harpists of ancient Egypt, salsa creation based on the syncretism generated by the Spanish invasion and the arrival of African slaves to America, music is one of the most influential manifestations in all societies. That's why I want to talk about this discovery of more than 50 Vinyl records that I found thrown in a trash can. It's ironic because the vinyl record trend has recently returned. Many artists are turning to releases with this technology, which undoubtedly marked a change in the music industry we know.

Here we will learn some information about this collection that I jealously treasure today.

Let us begin

Black Flag EP Jealous Again

This Hardcore punk band from the United States, specifically from Hermosa Beach California. Like every band of this genre, their lyrics are based on anti-authoritarianism mixed with lyrics that talk about extreme poverty and mental problems generated by the system.

This band is still active to this day. The album you see is titled Jealous Again, their second EP released in 1980. Without a doubt one of the most representative bands of the underground Hardcore Punk movement.

Here I leave the full album on YouTube so you can listen to the energetic music of those rebellious 80s.

This EP was the third to be produced by the SST Records label, recorded at the Media Art studios.

As for the recording, it was done completely live. Something that these days is no longer so common.

Riz Ortolani LP The Spy with a cold Nose

If it is about versatility, it is necessary to dwell a little on this exceptional musician. Riz Ortolani is an Italian musician who mainly dedicated himself to composing film music.

Among some films scored by this genius and that I have personally seen is Cannibal Holocaust 1980. One of my favorite horror films and because it has been very controversial.

He also composed the music for the film Mafalda in 1981, and the devil also cries in 1965, citing the more than 30 films in which he participated.

He was nominated twice for the Oscars.

I don't particularly know this compositional work because I have never actually seen the film. The Spy with a cold Nose is a British comedy from 1966. Even so, I find the contrasts in his life interesting, being able to bring his talent to different cinematographic works of different genres.

The Trashmen LP Surfing bird

Here is an LP from one of the most emblematic Surf Rock bands. They began their activity in Minneapolis in 1962, with Surfin Bird being the single that brought them almost instant fame, reaching number 4 on the Billboard hot 100 list. The band did not last long as they separated due to the invasion. British that took the American industry by surprise.
