Well, I do have some HIVE I've been meaning to power up. And the 1st of October is really just around the corner. But... :

I never thought that would come as a disadvantage, but I think this disqualifies me from winning... or getting a badge, which I'm more keen on, anyway.

Oh well! I may actually still pick October 1st to power up, AND I may write a post about it. Even if I'm not eligible for a badge. That's cool. I'm a dolphin, after all, a big boy who should be happy about where he's at.
