I came very close to nearly, almost, by the skin of my teeth ((just building the drama... Maybe go have a cup of tea I could be some time!!!)) didn't get my post out on July 1ST but by the miracle of modern technology ((I made my Daughter help with the HivePUD photo)) I flew under the radar, scored a home run, made it to the endzone... Sorry I'm doing it again... I hardly even notice the hyperbole anymore!
This finely crafted piece of garbage treasure is my HivePUD post.
I don't imagine that powering up a little over 100 HP given the sheer number of entries will be in the same orbit as the winners BUT you made it sound so much like an event that I wanted my post in on time to be part of the action.
I remember vaguely hearing the term spud HPUD in the past and never quite being sure what it was all about... Well now I know and I have even taken part in my inaugral HivePUD... Wait till the local womens institute get to hear about this!(Being a man of course I'm not a member, but occasionally I drop by and tell them their jam is bitter, the scones are dry and the vote has been rescinded... I get bored...
Thank YOU for stepping in to the breach and taking the reigns ((I'm mixing my metaphors again...)) and ensuring that the 1798th annual HivePUD ((if I read that bit correctly)) can indeed take place.
