Thread of Life : A Journey Into My World

GREETINGS!

Hi everyone!! Good day to each and everyone hivers out there. My name is Kirstie but you can call me phoennix09 here. Im still new here I hope we get along!

ABOUT MYSELF

First of all, I'm currently 16 years old and a grade 10 student. I studied in San Remigio National High School. While, I lived in with my mom, sister, and grandma. Everyone thinks we're rich because of my skin color but we're just farmers and I won't hide that.

My father was an abusive person and we left him when I was still 2 years old. But thanks to my mother's sibling and grandma, we were able to hide from him until now. We currently live in my grandmother's house, who is currently 81 years old and she will be turning 82 this year. My mother, on the other hand, is 54 years old and about to be 55 and she is self-employed. I'm grateful that my mom did not leave us and continued to take care of me and my older sister. There's only two of us siblings and I'm the youngest. My older sister is 18 years old and a grade 12 student. Unlike me, my sister is the opposite. She's a jolly and an extrovert person.

In school, I do my best in my studies. My favorite subject is math and science. I have liked these subjects mostly math since I was in elementary. I don't really liked getting attention since I was in elementary school. Because of this, I am a very independent person. I'm also a very quiet person and like to observe everyone. Meanwhile, if I'm comfortable with someone, then I'm very loud (for example, if I'm with my friends).

MY HOBBIES

★Playing chess

My first hobby is playing chess. I have played chess since I was just 6 years old. My cousin taught me the moves, and later on, it became my favorite sport. I play chess to have fun, but sometimes I play just to think of a solution to my problems. I don't know why, but it's effective for me.

★Drawing and painting

I can express my feelings through drawing and painting. This is helpful for me to be able to express my feelings without judgment. All my drawings and paintings express all of the emotions that I have while making them. Every single one of them is special to me, and I appreciate it.

★Playing mobile games

Playing mobile games is one of the ways I have fun. I play mobile legends until now. This is the only online game that we can bond over with my cousins so I didn't delete it. It is fine since I didn't get to the point that I'm addicted.

★Reading manhwa, manhua, and manga

Reading manhwa, manhua, and manga is my way of escaping reality by reading their life stories. My favorite genres are action, historical, and romance.

If you like action, I recommend reading "Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint." This is still ongoing, though, and so far, it's good. It has many plot twists, and the art style is nice.

But if you like modern romance, I suggest you read "Once More." This manhwa is already complete, so it won't be a cliffhanger anymore. The art style is also perfect. For so many years I've been reading, and this is the best one I've read so far. If you have any recommendations, please let me know. I will try to read them.

★Crocheting

Crocheting is my recent hobby. I crochet for fun and sell them afterward. I also accept their request of what to crochet. This hobby of mine is good and can be financially helpful.

★Listening to music

Listening to music is the way I heal myself from all my problems. When I listen to music, I realize how much my life is worth. It's also my way of forgetting what happened in the past.

★Spending time with friends

When I'm at school I mostly spend my time with my friends. And after class we go out sometimes and watch the sunset.

WHO INTRODUCED ME TO HIVE

One of my friends named @chyxille introduced me to Hive. I was really interested because I want to enhance my writing skills and be able to share my own experience with other people. Later on, we were orientated by Ma'am @dehai on what this really is about, and I'm thankful that I joined. Thank you so much, ma'am.
