Kotobuki Tsumugi from K-On!

Hello everyone! My, oh my, it's been soooo long! I was hoping to do the 3D series thing but with how busy life is being right now, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to put it off ;w; I've been in this internship program and I have learned sooo much in 3D asset generation and I hope to learn more before I continue the 3D series :>

Anyway, I'm back to posting my 2D artworks! Now, who's a BIG fan of K-On!?? Me, the answer is me. K-On! was one of the first anime that introduced me to the fun very expressive world of anime! It GREATLY influenced my art style (which I think I still have to this day despite doing semi-realism pieces now) and I thought it'd be super fun to draw Mugi!

Kotobuki Tsumugi is a soft-spoken cutie girl who's not afraid to get real. For this reason, I think she instantly became my favorite character. She's just in the backlines happily performing with her friends and she's always so nice. One of their ending songs, 'Don't Say Lazy', is one of my favorites holyyy. Song is so good, visual is so good, I just love it. In the music video, they all had this old sophisticated look and I wanted to draw Mugi in that hehehe

Ok, looking back the proportion of the face is very unnerving, BUT I absolutely love the softness to it. Soft like my girl Mugi. I would want to repaint her face one day because I love this piece it looks so classy and I'd love to fix the face area but that's a task for future kothy.
