Societal pressure

Society has placed so much on us that the last time no one expected anything from us was the first three months of existence, from the 4th month, we are expected to know how to sit when it's time to crawl, you should be crawling and from 9months, you ought to be up and walking. These expectations steadily find a place in our minds which affects how we think which birth the actions we take.

As much as these expectations have shaped us into what we are today. It is essential to note that everybody is on a different path in life, we are all on our timelines running different races.

We will come across people from all walks of life and if there is anything life has taught me in my short years on earth, is that Everybody put their best foot forward. No one wants to be mediocre. Everybody is wearing a mask and in most cases, you can only see what you are shown. Life has taught me that You don't compete where you can't compare. So in your little way, don't let the pressure of peers make you think you are not doing enough. You are doing the best you can. Are you thinking and acting on how to be better than yesterday? Do you work on yourself? Are you open to learning, unlearning and relearning what life is? One step at a time.

Nobody has lived a life before to tell us what is the best blueprint to follow. Why not trust the process? Sometimes, after doing everything humanly possible and it looks like there is no way there. Maybe it's time to live it to God and REST. God is Our source, let him bring the channel(Humans) to make it possible. I will not dispute the fact that Good family names have paved the way for children born and unborn. But have faith, believe in yourself. You are so much more!
