Hello, great people!
I'm glad I'm here today to share my view about content monetization and doing the actual work.

First, we should know that things are changing in the world, it will not be the same way it was in those days, when our forefathers were into arduous work, physical work that requires strength, struggling before they could see money and eat or take care of their family. We are in a new era where people are growing in knowledge, in technology, in education, and in advanced skills.
Yesterday, in my fellowship we were privileged to have a coach from an organization to speak to the corps members about enrolling in a course like project management, Human Resource Management, HHRM, and one of the corps members stood up to ask if this course at the end will bring money, the man said yes, in two ways. One, enable anyone to work anywhere, and the certification is very important. Like now I'm enrolling in a virtual assistant program, there are a lot of pros and cons to this course, and it is a virtual work that offers administrative tasks from your home, and then earns you money.
According to the question of Hivelearners featured contest:
What are my thoughts on content monetization
My response is that content monetization is good and acceptable, but there should be a balance between engaging in content creation and the actual work. Most platforms for content monetization are copy-paste, which is not ideal or not very thoughtful, as the case may be, and some are into dubious acts just in the name of content monetization. Engaging in content creation platforms that require original content and engaging in physical work would make individuals creative, active, and strategic in planning or carrying out any given tasks.
Has this made us lazy to pursue the actual work?
I would say a big yes and no, it has made us lazy to pursue the actual work, and has made some people stay focused and connected. Everyone wants to be a content creator, whether the content is meaningful or not, as long as it pays. And you will realize that the content that doesn't add value will pay more than the ones that carry value and impact
Personally, I want to be a hybrid worker and I need to engage in actual work too to bring a balance in my working life and experience, and through these mediums I want to bless people, connect with people from all walks of life, to offer help, to teach, and impact through my content and make money out of it by doing this I will feel satisfied.
Overall, not all content should be monetized, and the social media managers should scrutinize content before it's published online for virality. If some content needs to be taken down, it should. Dancing naked, acting in movies, and writing content that is not meaningful should be dropped. People learned good and bad from social media today, and these platforms are a big distraction to some people.
The world of content monetization or creation is full of deceit and falsity; there is no truth in it, and something needs to be done to correct these errors.
