We use this setup to introduce current civilization items (such as corporation equipment you have access to), make a few jokes and have some fun with EXODE content.

Information on the development of our game loop.
Information regarding Planet WAX and why it was delayed (apologies for that inconvience), why the game loop took priority, but also why we insist on continuing our deployment there.
Our roadmap:
We are now entirely focused on the development of our Away Teams game loop after handling several delays, the last one from the ongoing pandemic.
Our deployment will materialize in seven important steps:

1) The release of our Investigation missions, and their ingame report,
2) Access to Away Teams Step 2, our next deployment on game mechanics and presentation developed since November,
3) Accepting registration again to this challenge from new players, once it is improved and tested, when activating our big "Step 3": this step will allow players to reploy new decks for their planet!
4) Unlocking our Colonization Challenge next.
5) Refining EVAC and all our presentation, tutorials and explanation. And welcoming additional players from other blockchains at that time!
6) Testing our first Real season after a short test season.
7) And then activating BETA!

The beta will be huge: at this time we'll activate all possible growth!
This is our year. 2022 is going to be massive for EXODE.

Nice to hear about the launch of the game this year.

Great work.
However its a little bit unclear what I am actually supposed to be doing as a player.
I have been getting various tasks done on my planet (food stockpile, exploring, training etc) but there is little guidance on what my goals and options are or what I am supposed to be doing.
Good point @apshamilton , the Step 1 of this challenge was meant to test separate features on back-end and against the different assets we have in some kind of simplified UI, and it was not anticipated to last this long in Step 1.
We definitely need tasks (and quests later) and "checked marks" when progressing, and it's planned to do that!
For now it was not planned to test our "completion" batch of features, such as progressing on a global quest with various tasks, as we expect to test this in the first test season, but I take note of it and may introduce it sooner!
I'm going to have to check back in @apshamilton! By the sounds of it there are things we can do on planets now? Ok! Cool!
By the sounds of things the game play is pretty open at the moment and your looking for missions/guidance? I think these are good points to bringUP... although I do like the idea of open game play as well! ☄️
There are a lot of new features and functions but its not yet quite clear how it all fits together. Its fun though!
That's just it right! @elindos Exode still has to come together... but even so! It's individual parts are actually pretty cool! I think that's what I saw and why I decided to delegate to the project and invest in the game when I did! I'm looking forward to seeing everything develop! And YES! It's going to be lots of fun! 💯

It is alfa. So just check gameplay in test mode, and you can grab your personal nft planet at the end landing mission also ;)

From reading the comments, it looks like I didn't really miss anything lately. I haven't been checking the game after I got my planet. I am looking forward to the game being fully deployed.

How do you get your own planet or if we recently joined, do we need to wait for a test season/official season? I'm signed up but I only have access to a demo evacuation where we use the navy starter. It won't let me use my cards.
GAME => colonization pass => My Games => Launch Evacuation => make deck and choose testroom (this is only option available)
You'll get to Scanning if you succeed to the launch, and Scanning will give you the option to land on your planet.
I am going to change the default option on the button ALPHA 2, following this question, to always use the testroom version from now on.
