Hello everyone who has come to my page! 🥹🫣🤭

It has been quite a journey since my last post, and first of all, I want to apologize for my long absence. A lot has changed in my life recently, and I had to face many challenges.

After the war started, my reality was completely turned upside down. I was forced to leave my hometown, Mariupol, a city that no longer exists as I once knew it and loved it. Mariupol will always be in my heart, and the memories of my home still bring a deep sense of longing. 💔

Now I live in Germany, and this move marked the beginning of a long and difficult path. Adapting to a new life, searching for new goals, struggling with depression, and trying to rediscover meaning – all of this took a lot of strength and time. 💭

I don't know if there are still people who remember me, but if you're here, thank you for coming back. 🙏 I'm also happy to welcome new people who may have just found my page. Here, I’m starting to share my thoughts and tell my story once again.

Let’s start from the beginning.

How to sum up 2024?

First, let me remind you of who I was before all of this. In Ukraine, I had two names — Oksana and Ksenia. I worked as a drawing teacher at an Art Center, teaching children from the age of 6. My life was calm and joyful: I had a cat 🐱 and a dog 🐶, I loved traveling ✈️, and my family and I often went to nature 🌳. I enjoyed painting 🎨, and my artworks participated in exhibitions. I also had a small business creating portraits in the style of "Rick and Morty" 🖼️.

But then the war started... Everything changed. My peaceful life, comfort, and joy disappeared. My hometown, Mariupol, was under siege, and my family couldn’t leave for a month because the Russian army surrounded the city and battles began. We lived without electricity ⚡, water 💧, gas 🔥, and communication 📞 for a month. I know a lot about survival in those conditions. When the city was 90% destroyed, we managed to escape to Berdyansk.

That’s where a new chapter of our lives began. My mother decided to go back to Mariupol because she couldn’t stay away from her homeland 🇺🇦. Some of the family members went to work in factories in the Czech Republic, but I had a boyfriend at the time, a sailor. We both knew that neither the Czech Republic nor Mariupol were our paths.

We made our way through Russia, where we could catch a flight, and eventually ended up in Germany 🇩🇪, where my boyfriend's family lived. We stayed with them in Warstein for a while, but after a month, we broke up. My boyfriend went on a trip, and his family suggested I stay with them until I got back on my feet. I started attending integration courses and learning German so I could find a job and start a new life.

I decided to take integration courses because it is impossible to survive in Germany without German.

But!!!

A few months later, I found my own apartment and began living independently. Then, after seven months, I met someone by chance — a guy named Klim. It was love at first sight ❤️. We couldn’t be without each other, even though our cities were 4 hours apart by train 🚆. We drove to see each other all the time, despite the distance.

One day, my landlord told me that my boyfriend couldn’t stay at my place. So Klim and I decided to break the lease and live together. I took my documents, paused my integration courses to continue them in Klim's city, and moved in with him.

Klim is a tattoo artist 🎨💉. He immediately noticed my passion for drawing and suggested I learn how to do tattoos. I had always wanted to try, but I was so afraid 😨. But I set myself a goal, started practicing on artificial skin, and soon had my first client. I was nervous, but Klim sat behind me, held my hand 🤝, and helped me draw the first lines on the client.

Then, the tattoo studio owner made me an apprentice, and shortly after, he signed a contract with me. That’s how I became a full-fledged tattoo artist 💪. It was a real turning point in my life, and another way for me to express my creativity.

NOW WE CAN SUMMARIZE THE RESULTS OF 2024, WHAT HAPPENED THIS YEAR 😎🔥🖤

🖤 I’ve grown as a tattoo artist 🎨💪, even though I’ve been working as a tattoo artist for only a year. This was something completely new for me, and I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved. I never thought I’d work in this field, but with each day, I feel more and more confident. Below, I’ll attach my first works and what I’m doing now. If you’re interested, feel free to support me by following me on Instagram 📲.
This year has proven to me that the impossible is possible, and that you can learn anything at any age. I believe that if you truly want something, you will always find a way! 💫

🤍 I decided to become a tattoo model, and my friend, a master from Mariupol who now works in the Netherlands, created a grand project for me covering my entire leg. We participated in two tattoo festivals, and my tattoo became the best, taking first place at both festivals! 🏆🎉 But that’s a whole other story to tell.

🖤On November 6th, Klim and I celebrated our 2-year anniversary. To mark the occasion, we went to a hotel-restaurant in Warstein, where it all started. 💕

IMG_9440.jpeg

🤍 We went on a big journey through 7 countries in Europe in our car 🚗. These will be separate stories to share later.

🖤We made close friends. They are a family from Poland, but they have become very close to us. 🤗

IMG_9446.jpeg

🤍 We attended a concert of a musician from Russia, who left the country when everything started. His songs are very important to us, and they carry a lot of meaning. This will also be a separate story. 🎶

🖤 And I also attempted to visit my mom in Mariupol, but I was not allowed through in Russia. Now, I have the status of a "Threat to the Russian Federation." This is both a sad and somewhat funny story at the same time. 😔😅

IMG_9447.jpeg

🤍 I saw my family for the first time in these few years and celebrated my 27 years with them. 🥹

IMG_9449.jpeg

🖤 I forgot to mention the most important thing — we found an apartment. In Germany, that’s really hard. We lived in one room for a year, and it was awful. I’ll tell you more about that later. 🏠

It may seem like a little, but so much has happened this year.

I’ll try to post more often now that I feel better, and new options, meanings, and love have started to appear. 💖

I hope you, my readers, also had a rich and interesting year. Wishing everyone success and good luck in the new year! ✨
