I think you did a very creative work @patschwork. Instead of LED how about feeding fireflies inside the book cover :) But they will be too noisy I guess...

What a great idea =) I guess they also need to be fed. I also thought about luminescent mushrooms, that would be so awesome! Thank you @m1alsan !
