The Hive Power Up Day (PUD) is taking place on the first day of every month and the next one of 2021 will occur in a few days, on June 1st.
Since August 1st, HiveBuzz supports this initiative which allows you to collect Power-bee badges if you participate in the Hive Power Up Day.
For more information about the next coming PUD, you can read this post from @traciyork.

1. The Power-Bees levels
The more HIVE you power-up on Power Up Day, the bigger your power-bee.
Read the announcement and feedback the for more information on this.
2. The Power-Up Helper
The Power-Up Helper badge was introduced in the previous edition and allows you to get one more badge when helping others to power-up.
For more information on this, read the announcement post.
3. Delegations
Since the beginning of this year, we reward regular participants and those who have also been generous in helping others by providing them with a 3 weeks Hive Power delegations!
We want to reward commitment and consistency and to be eligible for a delegation, you must have completed 5 successful power-ups in the last 5 months.
The amount of HP delegated is calculated according to the following criteria:
- The levels of your power-ups (ex: you made two "level 3" and three "level 5" power-ups).
- The number of people you helped to power-up and the amount involved.
The higher all the above-mentioned values, the higher the delegation you will receive.
Last month, we delegated 4604 Hive Power to 129 users. Hopefully the total number of participants and power-ups performed will increase again this month to see the HP we will delegate going higher as well.
How to get your Power Up Day badge?
You will have to power-up HIVE on the 1st day of the month.
IMPORTANT:HiveBuzz will use UTC date and time to validate when your powered-up. Therefore, check your timezone and convert your local time to UTC before powering up! To help you not miss the moment when you can do your power-up, we added a countdown to our website.Power-up at least 10 HIVE. This will entitle you to the smallest power-bee. The more HIVE you power up, the bigger your power-bee!
You don't have to power them up in one step. All the Hive powered up will be counted together at the end of the day.
Strictly follow these rules and this badge will be on your board!
The badges will be distributed to all successful participants at the end of the Power Up Day.
Why participate in the Hive PUD
The first reason is to have fun and get a badge!
And here are some other great reasons to power-up your HIVE:
- Strengthen your influence on the blockchain with stronger votes on content, proposals and witnesses.
- Earn more curation rewards. The more Hive Power you have, the more you can potentially earn back
- Earn "interest" by holding Hive Power. You will also earn HIVE passively at about 3% per year of what you currently have powered up so the more HIVE you have, the more you can earn from just holding!
Finally, several amazing members, like @victoriabsb, @traciyork, @fionasfavourites, @cmplxty; @hiveph, @improv, @jeanlucsr, @livinguktaiwan, @naturalmedicine, @r1s2g3, @theycallmedan, @eddiespino, @aliento, @walterjay and others, are offering prizes that include delegations, Hive giveaways, and other cool stuff to the Hive PUD participants.
I'm new to Hive as well!
Thanks for the info, just powered up 10 Hive :)
Cheers!

You're welcome @trippymane, welcome here! 😊👍
Thanks a lot! 😀
I don't know why but I thought you were a bot until now 😆 Good to see a comment from you 😎
Actually now that I know you're not a bot you may be able to help me, I am not sure where to ask for assistance, it's an issue with my HiveBuzz TOUR. (nothing important I guess ??? but I wanna complete it now and that is bugging me off 😆)
As you can see from the picture, the "Introduce yourself" section hasn't been ticked off even though I did write an introductory post with the right tag, is there any way to fix this? (When I say I used the right tag I mean at the bottom of the post where you select the tags, should I have put the tag in the post itself as well? Still trying to get my head around things here)
I don't know if you are the right person to ask, sorry if the request is out of place 😀
Peace! 😎
The best place to get support about HiveBuzz or make a suggestion is on our Discord server.
For your first post to be considered as an introductory post, you should have used the #introduceyourself tag as the first (main) tag instead of the OCD community tag.
That being said, we will see if we can relax the rules a bit. 😉
Esperando el 1ro de mes para potenciar 🐝🐝🐝🐝 😁
Solo unos días más ... Paciencia 😊😏🐝
Espero en calma jajaja
Can anyone tell me what to do with these badges ? I am new on Hive
Welcome! They don't actually do something. It's like a badge that shows you have joined the power up day.

Thank you 😊
Please read the HiveBuzz user guide to get all explanations about levels, notifications and their meaning.
Done my #hpud for the day, 2.000 HP
Hi, I need to ask a question about my wallet (I'm new to the community), who should I ask? Thanks
What do you need to know? Just go to your wallet and power up at least 10Hive to participate to #hpud.
Hi, By mistake instead SEND the Hive Tokens, I gave it TRANSFER to SAVING 5 days ago and they disappeared, where do I see them now?
The HBD will be send to your savings. You should see it in the wallet on the bottom.
In Hive Savings? there is nothing....I pass you the screen and the one of the movement that I made, I understand that I did something wrong, but I know how to correct it or recover it and I cannot find help on this anywhere. Thank you for what you can inform me.

@HiveBuzz the best :)
Thank you @anioiicko, for this nice comment 😊👍
Hi @hivebuzz,
I am a new member to hive. How do I post articles here? Which community should complete the Achievement task? Please help me.
nice
Why is only the powerup on 1st of Month taken for this?
I am new here and i am powering up every time i have some hive for powering up. So every few days.
Just collect the HIVE or convert HBD until the 1st of the month. 😉
But if i collect till 1st and don't powerup immediatly, than i am loosing and everyone i am voting.
Ok its not a lot...
You are free to power up whenever you want.
That being said, we created the Hive Power Up Day to add fun to this action and incentivize users to do so.
I know.
I found HIvedollar on on the Market which was not converted because of low price.
So now i have more than 10 Hive. Have forgotten thatvi have set an order.
In Russia it's already 1 june and the website kept telling me that more than 2 hours left for this day. I have to go to sleep, so I will power up now because I want to create a post about that now !
This is because the website uses UTC time, not your local time.
Powered up 50 HIVE! 🐝
Congratulations @hivebuzz! You received a personal badge!
Wait until the end of Power Up Day to find out the size of your Power-Bee.
May the Hive Power be with you!
You can view your badges on your board and compare yourself to others in the Ranking
