Hola a todos, pasando el rato acá en Hive, leí un post de @acidyo sobre un concurso de diseño para la comunidad de Filipinas (@hiveph). Así que puse manos a la obra para enviar mi propuesta.

Buscando recursos para mi propuesta | Looking for resources for my proposal

Lo primero que necesitaba para realizar mi propuesta eran los recursos de branding de Hive. Buscando encontré la web que especifica la paleta de colores y también tienen disponible los logos de la marca.

The first thing I needed to make my proposal was the Hive branding resources. Searching I found the website that specifies the color palette and they also have the brand logos available.

Los requerimientos de diseño | Design requirements

Para el concepto que seguí tome en cuenta los siguientes requerimientos:

• La parte frontal debía tener información de Hive.

• La parte trasera debía tener un distintivo personalizable dependiendo del país o comunidad que será invitado.

• La parte frontal y la trasera deben tener un QR a una dirección de registro en hiveonboard.com y otro a la invitación del Discord de la comunidad respectivamente.

For the concept I followed I took into account the following requirements:

• The front side had to have Hive information.

• The back side should have a customizable badge depending on the country or community that will be invited.

• The front and back should have a QR to a registration address on hiveonboard.com and another to the community's Discord invitation respectively.

Preparando los QR | Preparing the QR

Para la creación de los QR usé la herramienta integrada del navegador Google Chrome

For the creation of the QRs I used the integrated tool of the Google Chrome browser.

No me gustaba la idea de tener el dinosaurio en el medio de cada QR, me recuerda cada vez que quedo sin internet en Venezuela y solo puedo saltar con ese tiranosaurio rex 🤣

I didn't like the idea of having the dinosaur in the middle of every QR, it reminds me of every time I'm without internet in Venezuela and I can only jump with that tyrannosaurus rex 🤣

En el Discord de la comunidad de Filipinas encontré una versión del logo llamativa y lo coloqué en el QR usando Illustrator como herramienta.

On the Philippines community Discord I found an eye-catching version of the logo and placed it on the QR using Illustrator as a tool.

Lo mismo hice con el QR para el registro de hiveonboard.com

I did the same with the QR for the hiveonboard.com registration.

Inspiración antes de comenzar | Inspiration before starting

Para iniciar tome algo de inspiración de un mockup de licencia libre que encontré en internet.

De todo el diseño solo me quedé con la idea de los vectores al lateral de cada lado de las tarjetas.

From the whole design I only kept the idea of the vectors on the side of each side of the cards.

Iniciando con el diseño | Getting started with the design

Inicie tomando la paleta de colores y jugando un poco con el logo en cada lado.

Start by taking the color palette and playing around with the logo on each side.

Añadí cada QR al lado correspondiente y para solucionar el tema de la personalización según el país o comunidad a invitar se me ocurrió recrear un localizador con una bandera en el centro que puede ser modificado por una bandera diferente según sea el caso.

En principio fui probando algunos iconos para la parte frontal que luego reemplace porque no me terminaban de gustar.

I added each QR to the corresponding side and to solve the issue of customization according to the country or community to invite I came up with the idea of recreating a locator with a flag in the center that can be modified by a different flag as appropriate.

At first I was trying some icons for the front part that later I replaced because I didn't like them.

Para los mensajes me guíe de la web de Hive (https://hive.io/), y wyhive (https://whyhive.co/) lo mismo para el tipo de fuente utilizada.

For the messages I was guided by the Hive (https://hive.io/), and wyhive (https://whyhive.co/) websites, the same for the type of font used.
