Hello Hive!
What I'm about to share with you is a little glimpse into our family, the values I want to pass on to my kids, and why Hive and Bitcoin are so important in doing this!
My oldest daughter is now 9 years of age and in grade 4 but before she began her 1st year of school... I knew I had to do something special!
I thought that the timing couldn't be better! I knew that the public school education they were going to be thrust into wasn't going to cover things like what money is, how to invest, how to innovate an idea from the groundUP, and how to build a business as an entrepreneur...
They just weren't going to receive that kind of education and I WAS NOT A.O.K. WITH THAT!
They might learn how to run someone else's business... Isn't that what most university educations are about? Teaching kids how to run other peoples business's?
So I was set! I knew what I had to do and only I could do it...
I had to create something that would remind my girls that I was their 1st teacher. I wanted something that would tie their hearts to mine one little tiny heart string at a time; one wonderful experience at a time.

So that summer before she entered kindergarten I decided to build a FULL ON Lemonade Stand TOGETHER!

And here it is... It's already been nearly 5 years ago already!!!
Today's post is only going to be a little taste! We will call it a #LemonZest!
But my 2 girls are still busy budding and flowering #Lemonpreneur's and I want to share more about this business venture & adventure with you all! #ProudDad
I'm in the middle of putting together a very special Hive Proposal to help @NathanMars and the whole Hive Community to get the word out about our amazing blockchain on Twitter (AS A COMMUNITY!)
...so I have got to stay on point!
But after I have launched this proposal I promise to share the whole story about the lemonade stand with all of you! (I might even get my girls to write the post... or we will do a combo post! We will see...)

The comment was greatly entertaining and greatly enjoyed, no matter the timing! I'm always so happy to see children learning selling and marketing at a young age. We are careful also to teach our family these values.

I believe it has lots of other great ideas, books, and tools to help children understand what's going on with our current economic system. I think it might be more geared to parents and assisting them with the daunting task of educating (I mean TRUELY EDUCATING!) there kids but I have yet to dig in to it. It's on the list!

I got my first born to set up a lemonade stand years ago. He actually made quite a bit. Ended up serving all the construction workers in Ellerslie (Edmonton) where the new homes were popping up.

This is stunning and I love the fact that you teaching them how to make money in which the university does not. Its the real fact of life and we are experiencing the heat of it now.
The lemonpreneur stand sounds like a wonderful idea and am glad you figured out what public schools do. We were taught to search for employment and not how to build for ourselves. Your girls are lucky and bitcoin and hive are around, it's a great time and am sure they will do excellently. Looking forward to their posts, the pictures are looking awesome :}

Sad we can't do that here in UAE, but maybe in PH, who knows? My girl and I sometimes bake cookies so sell to my friends. She's always happy to get little earnings from what she bakes.
