Then, if you use Peakd, you can assign all author rewards to @null which burns them, which causes DV's to only impact your reputation and not your rewards, because you will not be receiving any rewards. Impact on reputation depends on whether DV's come from an account with higher rep than yours, so there may not be any impact on your reputation if DV's come from an account with lower rep.
