Just a 2nd thought. All I think we need is the front ends to have a setting where we cannot see blacklisted users.
Users should be able to choose who they want to blacklist.
This tool exists, but it's global. The frontends are able to prevent a blacklisted account from being displayed, but only across the entire userbase.
Marky has been all but begged by me for that ability to choose who to blacklist, but he (and others) say I can just create my own bank and be just like Moammar Gaddafi... er, I mean lrn 2 code and make my own blacklist that works the way I want. Pharesim once planned on making such blacklists available, but IIRC correctly he changed his mind and didn't do it.
My goal was to make lists that people can subscribe to, but the native functionality was broken for so long, now I just don't want to get involved.
I appreciate you clarifying the matter. I can understand being done with something, especially something so thankless as preventing bad actors at succeeding in their schemes.

I have a lot of HP now so I go out of my way to upvote comments if people are engaging. It doesn't hurt my feelings if you don't upvote our convos but I do really like it when I get some extra HIVE for chatting 😄
I just think it's good manners to upvote people when I respond to their comments. I feel like my mom is frowning down at me for being rude if I don't.
