Today is the first of the month, the big #HPUD has arrived...
It's time to analyze what I've generated in terms of HP during this past month of August and I have to say that I'm delighted...
Obviously, I expected my efficiency in **CURATION **to decrease somewhat, and so it has. I've reached 7.7% efficiency in this sense, so I've dropped a bit in this type of reward, but not too much.
I still get a good 150 HP a month just from CURATION, which isn't bad.
Where I have gotten good rewards has been as an AUTHOR, I guess my adventures in Malaysia first and later in the Catalan Pyrenees have been quite popular with the audience and I've gotten a good 228 HP, well above the 180 HP that I usually get lately.
My TOTAL "passive" HP growth graph looks like this:
Also, since I Power-Uped on August 1st for #HPUD, I generated a total of 468 HP in total...
I thought it was pretty cool to increase my stake to round up that total HP number to 29,500 HP so my Power UP today was 32 HIVE...this way I can secure a new Bee Batch and keep up with tradition.

It looks decent for you. I think it was the average month for me. I got what I could from author/curation rewards and I powered up 100 HP to get some extra buffer on my yearly goal.
You're the first person I see who plotted the curation efficiency over time. It may be a good experiment, although I believe it depends both on your ability to choose the best rewarded posts, and on the other curators and how much HP is involved in curation.
I am not trying to find the best-rewarded posts, I am only upvoting those I like...but, yes, the Active-involved HP is key IMO:
Yep, I don't try to optimize my curation either. In fact, my APR was pretty low not so long ago. That's a great correlation between effective HP curating and curation rewards.
