So I have Hive however I need swap.hive to buy something on NFT showroom how do I get this?

I worked it out, when on NFT showroom, you go to wallet and swap hive for swap.hive :D

Haha yep, you can also use swap.hive for other 2nd layer tokens on https://hive-engine.com/ or https://leodex.io/
There you can also swap your hive for swap.hive

It may be a bit much at first because there are tokens of other hive communities like for example leo with financial orientation
