Fellow Hivers,
It seems I stirred up the beehive last week with my posts about AI and the launch of @hiveasmaximus. My intention was to bring something exciting and innovative to Hive, but I realize now that my excitement got ahead of me. I underestimated the sensitivity around AI-generated content, post rewards, and, most importantly, the value of clear and early communication. Looking back, it would have been much better to start with a conversation - sharing the idea and building consensus step by step.
One post I came across today really stuck with me. It talked about how, over the years, many Hivers got pushed out for making mistakes or not being enough of a "Hiver". That resonated deeply with me because I knew and valued many who are not on Hive anymore (i.e. postfork). And like everyone else here, I’ve always tried to stay true to Hive’s core values, even when my actions didn’t perfectly align with the expectations of others. But over the years, I often came close to "being pushed out" myself. Thankfully, there has always been enough support from others to keep me here, and I truly hope that we’re becoming more and more a community of Bees - uplifting each other, not Crabs in a Bucket.
I’ve also noticed some questions about my Hivepower. Over my 8 years here, my stake has ranged from as little as 10 Hivepower to as much as 2 Million. And yes, holding more Hivepower means having more influence and a bigger vote, but one thing has never changed - my commitment to Hive. For me, this platform has been an anchor in the ever-changing world of Web3 and Crypto. It’s not about maximizing personal profit; it’s about building something meaningful and representing Hive on the global stage. Hive has always been my home base, even as I explore other technologies & chains.
To those who may still doubt my intentions, I get it. Questions and accountability are part of what makes Hive unique. I’m not perfect but as a witness I thrive to be as as transparent as possible. Like everyone else, I’m navigating the complexities of this space while doing my best to build projects that push boundaries and create value for our community. The connections I’ve made here, whether onchain, offchain or in person at Hivefest, remind me why Hive has always been more than just a technology - it’s a community.
As we begin 2025, I remain dedicated to helping Hive grow as a decentralized and resilient ecosystem. Together, we’ve seen it all - bull runs, bear markets, governance attacks, sellouts, drama and everything else that happened onchain. And yet, we’re still here, stronger than ever. I truly believe the best is yet to come. Let’s keep building, sharing ideas, and shaping the future of Hive - together.
I will Downvote this post.
Yes I am aware that it is burned.
I will Downvote this post because I can and because you ARE a leech.
I hate a leech.
PS: What's with the banana? Monkey likes a banana? Do you like Apeswap? What?
Whatever it is that AI image is not working. Try a different prompt
Build cool stuff with good intentions that add value to Hive and ignore the noise
I think you had a really great idea. If anyone says otherwise, they can yell into the void
We need more relentless innovation, not less. Keep up the good work Wolf!
Asking for forgiveness > asking for permission
Thank you, Khal!
I truly respect your perseverance in building out InLeo. The current version actually looks really good and feels smooth when using. The onbording is also great - used it for @hiveusmaximus when creating the account. Keep up the good work!
Good thing is that you are staying around and not letting criticism to get to you. HIVE needs as much development as possible. I actually liked the hiveasmaximus and am sad that it was pretty much shut down.
Whatever the noise surrounding you at the moment, and what I agree or disagree with matters not.
I think you're a genuinely nice bloke and Hive needs nice people.
Best wishes and keep forcing the discussions. There can be no consensus on anything without discussion.
Best wishes :-)
Can that bot swallow hivesql and answer questions about the database that is hive?
A search that understands texts would really help the newbs find out what the crowd thinks about things.
What does the hive think about rally cars?
What does the hive think about value plan?
What does hive think about ai bots?
So many questions, no way to search and find out.
TheKittyGirl has been doing great work with The Terminal project.
Their Q&A database already covers most of the common questions people have. If we could train an AI bot using that data and set it up in Hive’s official Discord server, specifically in the #help-questions-info and #queries channels, it would be a game-changer. It’s a solid step in the right direction, and we’ve got to start somewhere!
It could. The idea of ai agents is that they're imitating consciousness in a fixed environment. So if I'd improve the software to include searches within HiveSQL or HafSQL, the ai agent could decide to utilise that feature.
We've been waiting all this time for a good way to search the hive database for the things we want to see.
I see lots of demand for using a bot that could direct them to specific posts/topics.
So what's the ETA of you shutting down hive watchers? I thought you would bring an end to them. Lol.

I totally agree with you. Let's building it - it is in our hands, our responsibility. Whatever it is, we create the shape and regulate our self; hopefully. Together.
Generally said I am very sceptic about AI generated content to entertain people - for example I never watch a video with AI voices; but more because of the bad quality. At the end it's the debate: do we destroy or enhance our culture. What is "our" culture? Big topic with a lot of parts and effects in it. For my work and private doings I use a lot of AI. But sure, I am concerned that AI can lower Hive's value and authenticity - but on the other side it can add a lot too.
I checked your posts from the last days, try to read stuff on maximus and so on. I don't like or can judge this, because I have to little insight. And my stupid and very little view isn't enough to have a meaning. But about one thing I have a clear meaning:
Hive on! Not only meant to Hive in general, but in combination with dudes like you. We all have to find our common way. And for this we need people/actions like you/yours. Don't let yourself be distracted. Initiatives like yours are a valuable contribution so that we can find and shape ourselves as a community.
Hive on. 2025 can be great - if we make it great.
Hive on!
ai is forbidden thats why i am blacklisted
