Firstly, I have been invited to talk to @epodcaster later about fitness and blockchain. My experience has mainly been with the @exhaust dapp, but I will mention @actifit too, although I have not used it in a while. This will be at 9pm UK time on Twitter Spaces. You can listen in on the web, but if you want to speak you need the mobile app.
As usual I have been keeping an eye on a few crypto prices. $HIVE is recovering a little. At least it is slightly higher than three months ago, unlike some others. $HBD is holding steady. I create this graph with a script using @coingecko data.
Friday Follows
I have been looking out for more Brits as I will produce a fresh #BritList next weekend and I want the numbers to go up. I just signed a friend up, but she has yet to post.
- @thesellotapekid is an illustrator with a cool style.
- @shimbodoesart is another artist who literally just joined thanks to her friend @benthomaswwd.
- @planet.muco and @mrsmuco are a couple from the Midlands who are using the @liketu dapp. They are doing well from that, but I hope they explore what else is on Hive.
The Doghouse
There are many forms of abuse on Hive. @livinguktaiwan has written about some they have seen. Communnities and dapps need to be vigilant as people will try to exploit them. Be especially careful about who has your keys.
The End
I have been taking part in the @hivebuzz Power Up Month in January. You need to power up or have a 100% HP post every day for a month to get a badge. I have been using liquid $HIVE to add a little each day. We are almost there now with over forty people still in with a chance.
End of the month means another Hive Power Up Day soon as well as fresh cards on @risingstargame. Always lots going on with Hive. Have fun.

BEER.I enjoyed the Twitter Space on fitness and the chain. I listened to the recording this morning. I think it’s great that you can earn from your hobby and enjoy it at the same time.
For me Actifit has become part of my routine on a daily basis. I’m going to keep that going, as at the moment my long form posts just aren’t ready to hit the publish button on! So at least I can keep my feed going on a quieter level.
It was a fun chat last night and some other Hive people have been featured there. I need to have a listen.
I think it's great we have options like Actifit and Exhaust that encourage people to be active and to post.

It is a single image plus text sort of dapp. Not really my thing, but I did a post a while back to try it. I think they started ages ago, but only really got going recently. Anything that gets more people active on Hive could be good.

Yeah, that is kind of cool. Not always my thing either, but there is definitely a huge market for that kind of content. I will have to check it out. My fear is the posts would show up on my feed.
Your Liketu post will show up on your blog as it cross post automatically. I've done a few posts from my alt as I don't have time to write long posts all the time, so it's good to have an alternative fore shorter content. The team is very good in that they're really here to bring more users to Hive and are active in engagement and maintain quality which bis a big plus for me.
Ah, okay, I am not sure I would want my stuff to how up on my main feed. I have a couple of alt accounts I could use for that though. Good to know. Thank you!
