My Hive Healthcheck

After @livinguktaiwan posted about doing a health check on her account I wanted to see how I am doing.

First, I have been on the the blockchain since Feb. 2018 for 6 years and 8 months and recently took a two month break from posting. This check came at a good time for me to reflect on my contribution and next steps with Hive.

Next, I will go through the points in the post A healthcheck on your Hive account to see how I am doing personally.

✔️ I have never abused on Hive, plagiarized, spun content or used AI to write my posts

Yes, I write original content and post original photos and if using someone else's words or photos give them credit. I feel very strongly about this!

✔️ My posts normally consist of more than 150 words or original photos/art/music/video created by me.

Yes, my last 10 posts are all over 180 words with an average of 398 words per post. It does take a lot of time and energy to write good quality posts. For the most part I really enjoy the process of writing and I learn so much about the places I go when I do a post about them.

❌ On average I read and consume at least 5 posts a day written by other people.

I do look at other people's posts and most times comment on them. Not 5 day. GOALS

❌ Excluding bot commands or entry to contests, I make at least 5 genuine quality comments on the day I'm active on Hive

No, and I can and want do better at supporting my fellow Hive creators! The graph below is from the dashboard in @peakd. You can see the 2 month break I was recently on.

❌ I comment more on other people's posts than responding to comments on my own posts.

No, and as I mentioned above I want to be more supportive and that includes finding new people to follow.

✔️ My self vote % is less than 5%

Yes, my self vote has been 0% for many, many years now.

✔️ I spread my upvote around to a lot of people

The chart below is from the @PeakD Dashboard. Fun, the person I support the most is @livinguktaiwan. She also posts quite often.

🔷 I have powered up at least 10 times in the past 12 months
I am not or have not powered down in the past 6 months

While I can't say that I have powered up that many times, when I do power up it usually a large amount.

✔️ I have at least 30 HBD in savings.

YES! I mean who doesn't want all the (15% APR) money that you get for having HBD Staked.

✔️ I delegate 40% or less of my stake

Right now my delegated Hive says -27.093. I have to admit that I don't really understand delegation.

✔️ My staked HP is more than my earnings on Hive

I am sure it is. I went to the link in @livinguktaiwan's post and under the rewards summary it said loading... for a very long time. I have invested a lot in Hive over the years.

Update: I saw @libertycrypto27 comment and got the information below.

✔️ I actively manage my own or help to moderate/curate in at least one community

I gave myself a point for this one. I started the Art Talk community 3 years ago! It has been great to have a place to share my thoughts about art and to get to see and read about art from all over the world. I need to be a bit better about moderating it. GOALS.

❌ I have proxied or voted for at least 27 witnesses

I just checked and I had voted for 6 witnesses. I went in and add more. Of course I have voted for steempeak by peakd!

✔️ I have invested fiat into Hive
Yes, I have invested a lot of money into Hive and Splinterlands.
