The core community is mainly freakishly intelligent, but there's also a lot of sheeple around, it's inevitable.
There's still nothing quite like it, where you can earn say even $100 a month for just posting an interacting and having a bit of fun!
It's just rude to cash out more than 50% of what you earn, but people do.
But then again there's a lot of HP that never votes for them, so it's false economy on their part.
true - a lot pretty intelligent - some for the good some for the other side :-) - and the HP that never votes is also useless indeed. I have automated some votes since ages - have to find out where and how again :-)
