This diagram represents the key components of the Hive blockchain economy. The Rewards layer includes the tokens that are distributed to content creators, curators, and witnesses for their contributions to the network. The Supply and Demand layer represents the market forces that determine the value of these tokens, as well as the availability of resource credits that are needed to perform actions on the blockchain.
The Governance and Consensus layer includes the mechanisms for making decisions and achieving consensus on the state of the blockchain.
