Hi guys - I'm brand new here, but not new to the world of blockchains, crypto, blogging and the like. I used to have an account with the other lot, err... you know them. You used to be part of their scene, that was until the Chinese mafia rolled into town.
Well to cut a long story short, I had taken a sabbatical from Steemit at the time of the now "infamous split", and I returned to find that 90% of all the people who made money there were Koreans, and it was pretty impossible to get my work noticed.
Then my account got hacked, I lost a lot of coins that I had built up, all my posts from the past - over 600 of them disappeared one day and I found that it was impossible to post, even though I saw on the blockchain that my writings and muses had been recorded and were being logged as having posted and yet nothing appeared on Steemit for others to vote on. It was heart-breaking and a complete waste of my time and efforts.
I then emailed to the Steemit HQ, only to be ignored of my plight for over 2 weeks with no help to rectify my account. Not even one reply and I emailed at least 6-7 times with pictures too!!
So, I thought "Enough Was Enough", and I have had it up to my neck with them, so I took the brave step today of defecting to you, the wonderful Members of Hive.
It's a little different, and of course I am starting from the bottom, so please help me along to get my feet a few rungs up the ladder.

Good to see you moved over. I don't think Steemit care much about anyone not in their inner circle. I and many others got censored there.
