The front woman with black hair, the brunette, is Nimodia.
I want to add some tattoos on a cheek (the tattoo versions didn't make the cut in this first version, I could not yet settle for it), and need more work to finalize facial traits and test different poses (and attitudes! this one is too serious). So it's a Nimodia 80%. Also please note here they are with some ground exploration equipment, they don't need all of that on their starship.
The second woman is Sigis-adjacent: it's not the final representation I want for Sigis, Sigis has some much better outlooks, but almost all of it is valid. Some of her seriousness definitely validated it.
I really like the artwork! You're right. I think a proper flight suit and maybe some goggles or some kind of visor would be more appropriate for wearing while piloting a starship. The armor does look legendary.
Maybe you can finalize what you want to see on the cover of Book 2 by the time that comes out anyways because they develop physically through the story too. That's probably when I'll see those facial cybertics I'm imagining.
