There was colony of ants. These ants were of two different colors - black and red. They lived peacfully, working together to gather food and build their colony. They had different roles in the colony, and each ant knew its place, but they all worked together to ensure the survival of the colony. The black ants were in charge of finding food, while the red ants were in charge of building and maintaining the colony. Together, they formed an efficient and well-oiled machine that thrived in the forest.
One day, someone stumbled upon the colony of ants and took a jar and placed the colony of ants inside, sealing them in. At first, the ants were confused. They had no idea what was happening, or why they were suddenly trapped in this small space.
Soon, they realized that they were running out of food and resources. The black ants, who were used to gathering for food, found themselves struggling to find enough to feed the colony. The red ants, who were used to building and expanding the colony, found themselves running out of space to move and work.
Feeling threatened, the black ants started to blame the red ants for their situation. They accused them of not doing their job and not building a big enough colony for the colony to survive. The red ants, in turn, felt unfairly targeted, and they retaliated by accusing the black ants of not finding enough food.
As the days passed, the animosity between the two groups of ants grew. They started to fight with each other, fiercely battling for survival. They had forgotten that they were once friends and had lived in harmony. They had forgotten that they were all in the same situation, trapped in a jar by an outside force. They had forgotten the importance of working together, and how they were all equally important in the survival of the colony.
The moral of this story is that in times of struggle, it's easy to blame others and point fingers. But before we start fighting with each other, it's important to remember that the true enemy may not be who we think it is. We should always question the actions of those in power, and remember that true unity and peace can only be achieved by standing together and working together, not against each other.
Just like the ants trapped in the jar, society today is also divided and manipulated by those in power. "They" wants us divided, so they can maintain control and authority over us. "They" use media to spread one-sided information and manipulate the public into believing that certain groups are the enemy. As a result, we start to blame and fight with each other, instead of questioning the actions of those in power.
In the same way, it can be applied to religions, where some people still like to play the "my God is better than your God" argument, where in truth, in many of the faith, we all worship and believe in the same God, or similar principles. Just like the ants, the true enemy may not be each other, but rather the societal structures and systems that divide us and pit us against one another.
Social media, despite its usefulness, has also contributed to causing divisions in society. The ease of access to information, as well as the ability to connect with people from all over the world, has made it easy for people to become entrenched in their own beliefs and perspectives.
It's easy to find and surround ourselves with like-minded people and ignore or dismiss perspectives that differ from our own. Additionally, the spread of misinformation and fake news on social media has only served to further divide society and create mistrust and animosity between different groups.
Be mindful of the information we consume, and strive to seek out multiple perspectives and sources. This way, you can make informed decisions and not be swayed by one-sided information, fake news and all that shit associated with it.
