Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that the Hive Real-Time Wallet Dashboard is working again and I've published it at https://hive.codergeek.org/
You wouldn't believe how many people messaged me and asked me to get this up and running again. It's really just a fun way to visualize your wallet values changing over time. It is based on a program originally developed by Matt Rosen quite a few years back for Steem. I cloned the repo and 'Hive-ified' it.
I want to use this old domain of mine, codergeek.org to publish a variety of Hive toys and tools that I come up with to display various Hive data in fun and unique ways.
Feel free to shoot me a comment if you have any ideas for things you'd like to see!

I just checked out and it is great, I just realized that no one delegates HP to me hahaha and my vote power is so minute haha.
haha, well don't feel bad. Everyone who is delegating to me are people who I worked my butt off to get set up on Hive, then they posted a couple of times and then stopped.. Then they delegated their stake to me.
That's awesome. I just checked our mine. Every few seconds, it kept updating account wallet👌
It's kind of fun watching the values go up! I added a lot of decimal places so that even the smallest accounts can see movement.
Wao... Its so cool, it manually updates itself and gives so much details
There is something nice about watching those numbers roll up. It makes it feel like stuff is happening, which I guess it is!

Sounds like a good idea though, or even just having them come to a blank start page where they add their username. (To be honest, seeing your stats and getting the jist of how things work when you land is pretty cool might even motivate some people to aim higher!)

That's so awesome. I've bookmarked that site already. Are you open to suggestions? Can you add a dark mode? All that white hurts my eyes! :) For real though, this is awesome. I love it. I can't wait to see what else you create!

Definitely yes on the dark mode. In fact, I might just change it to be dark by default. I really need to redesign it such that it will work properly on mobile as well. I didn't even think about that way back when I first converted it to Hive.
Also, as I mentioned to another user I am going to have it remember the last user that was entered so that when they come back later it doesn't display my info. I could also add a button that says 'forget user' in case they don't want this behavior. Might be overkill, though.
I think those are great additions that you could make to it. Making it dark by default isn't a bad idea either. I think most people these days have moved over to that anyway. Except my wife. She says it hurts her eyes :)

Very cool! I just looked at that old post of yours and went to each of the links. I didn't know about them! I even missed your post when it came out, even though I was a beneficiary. lol! A belated thank you is in order.
I plan to make several improvements such as making it responsive and on a darker background, as well as remembering the entered username so that you don't have to enter it every time. At least on the same browser.
