So I will start off by saying this is my first ever Blog.... EVER. 38 Years young and it tool this card game to get me to open up enough to do this. A little background on myself. If you saw me out and about at work the kids thing you would say is "That Guy plays Splinterlands". I started listening to MMORPG books 2 years ago and that morphed to other genres and then I cam across SL and tried it in November 2021 and was like "this games Legit." So I overpaid for cards that were useless was trapped in Bronze and sta
rted reading. Reading, reading everything on here and other SL resources.
My playing waned for a couple weeks then I'd say around January the hype of Chaos Legion sucked me in. I was now able to get in on a new release and buy Packs. On release day I bought 300ish packs then continued buy packs here and there and my current tally is approximately 900ish. I've been able to build a pretty decent deck from there. But to anyone starting out I say "**Peakmonsters Is Your Friend** " rent different cards try different strategies there before you make any purchases to see if the card will fit your style. My biggest struggle is Low Mana Slow battles. Still to this day I'm awful at them . My sweet spot it 30+ . This game is truly addicting and the community is really amazing. They are helpful, insightful and no matter what guild or group you are on it seems like everyone's goal is to grow the Game. Which is pretty cool. I dint know what direction this blog will go but let's see. Till then Chat Soon!
