RE: Quick Guide: #CometWeek In A Click! ☄️

in #hive3 years ago

@wil.metcalfe thank you. I think this clears things up. I will try and run through a mission and report this weekend. Hopefully I can get @gentleshaid to do so as well.

How do we know we were successful in doing everything right?

Yes, @ryzeonline deserves some of that tip, but man, you have done something special here. We need to get the word out on this. I wonder if @jongolson and the #ctp folks know about this? This is right up their alley as they are all about community and engagement.

Yeah, @wil.metcalfe really turned up with his comment-encouragement initiative. #BeastMode :) I'm thrilled you're getting the word out to others about it, Joe! 🙏

For sure!

Good luck on your 1st missions!

I’ll do my best to double check to make sure that your doing the missions correctly. I’m handling quite a lot atm but eventually I’ll be by with @comet.ranker to give you a confirmation badge for completing missions. I’ll also be granting you part of a Comet Point on H-E! ☄️

I hope you and your friend have fun doing the Comet Missions!

Let me know if you have any more questions as you go along!

Thank you for pinging JonGo about this! I’m not sure if he heard about @Comet.Ranker or #CometWeek yet... but now that you’ve tagged him here perhaps he will have a chance to look into it! 🙌

Thanks, I really appreciate all the time you have taken to explain this to me. I am sure it will help others as well. Sometimes I can be so damn dense.

I do recommend we find a way to communicate this in a more easier to understand fashion. I think the hardest part to understand is how to report and where.

Hahaha! It’s all good! You know... I really struggled to break this down as simply as I could... The #CometWeek White Paper was a labour of love that lasted over a month and probably took on many forms by its 5th or 6th edit!

When I was finished writing it I knew that there was still going to be miss-understanding around it... and I decided that would be ok.

What I really wanted was for people to genuinely read and understand why comments and a friendly Hive were/are so important to all of our success here.

It’s not just about participation and getting reams of people to sign up and complete missions... I really want people to understand why this is important and what’s truly at stake.

I wanted to know who the people were that actually cared about a long term vision for Hive and the well-being of each and every person here.

Our social environment matters... and how we treat our own matters as well!

Making it actual work to join the #CometCrew... well! I think that matters somehow!

So thank you for taking the time and putting the brain juice into understanding what this is about!

It has certainly made you stand tall here on Hive in my eyes!

Welcome to the #CometCrew!

Well, I appreciate it. The effort showed. I read it all, and it was written well and your point and passion were clear as day.

This for sure is a good thing and I will be posting about it Monday in an update about my new website. I am hoping if things work out with the geek coding peeps and their Gods that @comet.ranker might be able to play a role in the engagement of the users of it.
