Part of the problem is that these things are being discussed off-chain. Leonis contacted me about this and in my opinion, it's way overblown. I am not saying I know for sure. But that's the impression I get, for the moment.

It is not over blown because I talked to John over voice yesterday. Personally. He runs a spinning operation by hiring cheap labor. What he does personally is none of my business, but I don’t support plagiarism, organized exploitation or anything similar
@azircon I am really sorry to intervene but I'd like to mention that @utopiaeducators is not a bogus website acquiring cheap labour or anything. It's constantly been working towards the goal of world education initiative. I feel the allegations of such sort are unwarranted and unjustified. I completely stand in support of John and @utopiaeducators
With all due respect, I'm not sure where you got the idea that Utopia is running a spinning racket" with cheap labor, but I'd like to mention again that Utopia is not a place for plagiarism. Putting the blame on everyone based on one single authors mistake is a fallacy.
With all due to respect, it is very sad to say when it comes to considering your these kinda words in case of john, this is so disrespectful without having enough research about John. I was the very first person whom he recruited in utopia since March.
I can speak loud and say literally that the service, support and amount of payment what has given by john to his authors is a huge according to author's expectation. Even, I never saw someone like him who has always been encouraging his people to write good content, plagarise free content and even with many perspectives of authors [everytime].
You will be understood it very simply knowing that before we are on the hive, there were some mistakes that happened in utopia. John was the only man who pays extra money them to encourage not to have plagarise something that can be marked as shit. I had to talk about this issue widely cz when I saw you are hitting him by saying "he runs a spinning operation by hiring cheap labor" . It'd be better if you made a good research about him regarding all.
We have more than 300+ posts on hive and utopia website. At least a few posts can be seen as a little mistake at some points. We agree with it. But just a single mistake can't have the right to impose on the whole reputation.

It wasn’t about money. Not from my end anyways. But I reserve the right to decide who I support and not support personally. That’s all. I am not HW. But as far as I know they have done wrong as per HW policy. It is upto HW how they handle it. Their policy is quite transparent.
Personally I do not see any value in utopia’s posts. I do not see how hive will benefit from it.
