Even hive official accounts don't downvote based on quality, they downvote only based on spam (or) copy. I think it is fair. But what you doing is not fair in my opinion. People have different skills and qualites. In a class, there are many children with different grades based on their skills, but no one should get 0 (or) no one should get 100 % downvote on their honest work and if they made their efforts. Downvote hurt others because there are people who depended on hive for their lives.
This is so crazy. Like no wonder where we are where we are.
I need to focus on ramping up my tradfi community. People do not even understand basic laws of supply and demand here.
What you just described means we are going to 0 if that is HIVE's mode of operation.
Even there are many people on hive who understand more about supply and demand (or) economy (or ) business, hive prices are continuing to decrease more and more. So, hive have serious problems that people can not find solutions (or) answers.
I want to ask even my posts are low qualities on your standard. Does that make my posts deserve 100 % downvote? Don't care about my drawings, my skill,my effort and my honest work.
If you need HIVE because there is no other way to pay for food, that is an absolute tragedy and it is terrible.
I think we need to run charity through the DHF so it is sustainable and we do not go to zero. I want to know how many people we are supporting financially via HIVE inflation.
I would rather HIVE inflation go to authors and curators that want to build a stake.
Right now we are heading to zero because people have suicidal empathy. Suicidal empathy is a huge issue globally, that philosophy systematically destroys institutions.
Hive is heading to zero because hive can not attract many people who want to use it (or) invest it. There is not enough interest on hive, and it look like it decline more throughout the years. Even downvoting doesn't seem to help to increase the price of hive.
Downvoting just shifts the rewards to other people.
HIVE is inflationary with a declining inflation rate. The HIVE rewards are going to go down overtime. That is a fact.
So the HIVE amount per post will go down and the $ value of that HIVE will go down too.
The price will always go down unless we make it appeal to people who want to buy more than we are printing.
Right now people are waiting for some rich person to come in and be everyone's bag holder while accosting whales. Doesn't seem like a formula for success.

A key bug or feature (I am honestly not sure which it is right now), of the reward pool is it forces us to interact even if we don't want to.
The reward pool is our "Common Good" not a "Public Good."
How we use the reward pool is the most important thing on HIVE in my opinion.
I do not run blacklists. I do not have a discord you need to go to if you want to appeal my downvote.
I will upvote and downvote the same person based on what they post. I am a human and using the platform like a human. That should not be crazy.
I have a blog and you can come talk to me about why I downvoted you. And I will upvote you for stopping by and actually posting something with feeling.
I think that is a good deal even if you do not like being downvoted. If I downvote you, we can talk about it on HIVE, it is documented forever.
If people want to use this as evidence I am a bad person they were lied to when they were onboarded.
The reward pool is a "reward." It is not guaranteed by any stretch. It is a giveaway not a dividend.
