Muting them still shows the activity.
This is not reasonable IMO because the UX is terrible with muting being the only solution.
We pay for front end development through the DHF. I do not think this is a crazy ask on my part.

It depends what front end you use. Many do make it invisible like hive.blog.
It looks like PeakD's mute feature works that way too. I am trying to understand the blacklist feature but need to read about it more. Task for a different day!
Huh. Is that why when I post an Odysee video, no one on Hive.blog can see my post at all, other than the title? I had people accusing me of farming tokens by posting empty blogs and farming autovotes. I about had a seizure.
If Hive.blog blacklists posts containing Odysee videos, that would explain it.
I think the activity is displayed if you select it and search for it.
But it’s on a front end. We are all using front ends right now!
I would think the goal of front ends, at this stage of the chain, is to improve UX.
Maybe we aren’t there yet? But I think we can get to a point where a ask like this is possible 🤷♂️
