Wusang/HBIT ecash cache hidden treasure found!

in #hive2 days ago

From the not-so-breaking breaking news department...

The first ever hidden treasure ecash cashu cache has been found! It was found on November 18, 2025 by @amaari by using the classic !hivebits command. This is a 1-in-10,000 chance find. See the winning command and response here: https://peakd.com/@amaari/re-amaari-t5y2qo

The treasure was a cache of bitcoin sats in the form of ecash. If you don't know what ecash (or cashu) is, it's real bitcoin, real sats. That's the bottom line. Here is the announcement and details: Bitcoin ecash comes to Wusang. And, the following link can explain things, both ecash and how it fits with the @Wusang game and with @Hivebits on Hive: https://wusang.vercel.app/pages/ecash-found.html

The discovered ecash cache has been claimed already, though there's no way to know if amaari is the one who got it. I hope it was. As stated on the Wusang site:

Think of it this way: you found a pirate's treasure chest but need to return to the ship to get a rowboat to load the treasure into. While you're delayed, someone else might happen along, see your treasure, and scoop it up.

It took a little longer than expected for someone to find the ecash treasure. I (@crrdlx) had estimated August 2025 and it took into November. That was a few months later, but that's the way probability works. (A thank you to @savvytester for alerting me that the treasure was found.)

So, I made a new ecash treasure to be found. I ponied up some funds to re-up the ecash cache with new sats...a new treasure. As I did with the first ecash cache, any and all rewards I get here on this post will be added to the treasure cache. Here are ways you can chip in if desired:

  1. All Hive rewards (HIVE and HBD) for this post will be converted into sats by using the v4v.app by @brianoflondon. So, an upvote to this post effectively adds sats to the treasure chest. (Note: 20% of the rewards have been delegated to @commentrewarder.)

  2. If you're feeling generous, you can straight up donate sats. If you do send sats, please include a comment like "Wusang" in the transaction, or just ping me here, to give me a heads up.

Two ways to send sats:

  • On Hive, you can actually send HIVE or HBD using the v4v.app and v4v.app will auto-convert the Hive token into bitcoin sats. (Pretty cool.) Go to v4v.app, login with Keychain or use the browser on the Keychain mobile app, choose "Send", scan the QR above and go from there.

You'll have to trust me, but I'm telling you here that I will put the post rewards and any donated sats into the treasure chest.

Treasure chest number 2 is out there filled with new sats, waiting to be discovered. You ask, "How do I play the game to try and find it?" Read here: https://wusang.vercel.app/ Happy treasure hunting!

Just think! One of your creations has actually provided something awesome!! 1-in-10,000 chance! As you said... hopefully it was collected by @amaari. So... thanks again to @savvytester for letting you know the ecash cache had been found. I chipped in a little to "add to the cache"... Check DM's. So... until then? Here's to !HBIT

View or trade LOH tokens.

@kenny-crane, you successfully shared 0.1000 LOH with @hivebits and you earned 0.1000 LOH as tips. (3/10 calls)

Use !LADY command to share LOH! More details available in this post.

Do you mean to ask when the "super rare prize" with a 0.01% chance of being found from a HBIT mining attempt will be found again? 🤔 !LOLZ

Anyway, you can mine HBIT for today (UTC) within the next 22 hours! 😎 !HOPE

No, I meant the first time. Will have to think on the second time prediction. Or maybe you can. 😀

Well done.

Very interesting!
Congratulations @amaari !ALIVE !INDEED

It would be good if you win the next treasure cache from mining HBIT (as often as everyday), but you should be ready to claim the reward when that happens before other people (on or outside Hive) do !INDEED. 😅 !LOLZ

I don't know anything about these treasures, and I first heard about their existence in this post, so I'll try to get acquainted with the mechanics soon. Thank you! !ALIVE !HOPE
