It's been quiet, here in the Veterans CommunityFallen Brother In Arms.. But we wanted to pause and give a proper tribute to @jerrytsuseer's older brother, James William (Jim) Tippins. So please take a moment out of your busy day, if you would, and join us as we honor our

This won't be an obituary, as that's already been done. Rather... I'd like to call this a "Celebration of Life". James passed June 26, 2024, at the age of 88. He served in the United States Army and fought in the Korean War. I could go on and tell you everything I know. But this was a story that was shared by another VETTrust Fund. He passed in April of last year, and we are still working to get everything resolved. So in my own way, I am still recovering from all that this situation has entailed. But you see... this post is not about me, but rather, to show respect to Jerry's brother. But in this, is the underlying story... @jerrytsuseer; it was his brother, after all. I will be quite transparent here... I have been working on this post, for almost a week to date. The issues that Jerry is experiencing, are very close to home with me, as my Mom had recently lost her life partner, and all of his belongings were wrapped up in a

For those of us who have served, or continue to serve... we all understand the concept of togetherness. I remember very well, the Army motto; "An Army of One". Clique or not, this is probably the biggest battle that Jerry is facing. Because in all of this... he is doing it alone. So rather than take more of your time, with my well-known blabbing. I will provide links at the bottom of this post, so you can see with your own eyes, the story that was shared by Jerry. Also... with the greatest of love and respect. I am going to share a few photos from a family member, who served in the United States Air Force and passed several years ago. He was given Full Military Funeral Honors. I know this is what James would have wanted, but due to this situation of his death. He was cremated (out of respect, I will let you read the full story via the links I will share at the end of my post). So... for you, James...
