1. 2020 milestone 🤑 achieved - I'm an Orca!

I just can't believe it... this is most likely a dream of many in #HIVE and all I can tell you is to NEVER give up! It took me more than 3 years to reach this place. I am super excited to find what this stage will bring into my participation in this blockchain. Certainly great stuff with greater responsibility!

1.1 Where I am going to next?

2020 was a very long year, to me and to many of you. This proved planning and determination make everything possible. Now I need to have some time off and enjoy this achievement.

First, I will be spending the Christmas and New Year period on the "Having fun!" kind of game. This means I will not be focusing on any objectives, for now. It will be as is... or as it goes? LOL 🤭

2021 will be, probably very different. I don't have yet a very clear plan to execute, but something is brewing already for at least a few months. We will see! The important part is that I am having fun with all of this experience and on top of that, I can tell you one thing, is worth a TON of value.

2. #HIVEGames on the #HIVE #Blockchain

If you have not yet read my extensive post about #HIVEGames, then put it on the queue for consumption. This was 2020 🐝 Hive Blockchain Games 🎮 - The power of having fun!

I had great pride in writing that one. It meant something special to me because of this new experience and of what I really enjoy doing, testing while playing games!

Hopefully, there will be an updated version of the post before the end of the year. I am counting on you with an updated front-page picture, @doze! 😉

2.1 The path of 2020 #HIVE 🎮 Games

Hive games are becoming something special. You can reach us here on Hive and on Twitter. There are so many of us already. So, if you have an account on either and you are up to post about games on Hive, make sure you use #HIVEGames. If you wish, also tag me on Twitter (@forkyishere) or here on #HIVE.

Supporting this initiative will be a tremendous help to the Hive ecosystem and their supported games, especially if your area is into the #Blockchain #Games world. For more details of how this started, check the side image that links to a previous post.

Any questions, advice requests or comments are welcome, either here or anywhere else you find me.

The best way to meet with this community is engaging, asking any questions or finding more information before you give it a try. Try me also, I have a pretty good overview of games all around, especially if integrated with blockchain technology.

2.2 Exposure 😱

As many of you might know I have been trying to promote and expose #HIVEGames through a diverse world of options. Those being, comments, Twitter posts, giveaways, startup guides, challenges, etc.

Initially, I didn't understand the reasoning or factoring required to make this kind of work. So, be sure that I might have experimented quite a lot within the lines I usually write about. The point is, I might have created some exposure, but if I can take a positive effect from it, that was what every single of you have done to tell a story about your experience. That's what counts on use cases. So, let's keep the flow!

Playing games on #HIVE and broadcasting your fun is starting to slowly show everyone that there is some merit about all this. There is only one reason why people follow someone... and that is because they found a leader to follow. Simple as that.

How can you help? Simply play games and enjoy the moment, learning along the way. Then either broadcast that or let the developers know your suggestions. It will benefit everyone.

Unlike paid to play games, these get a very interactive way of development along with its users. If you can, make sure you really become apart of the game evolution as that will both benefit you and the game. To be honest that's really something that motivates me playing these games. I am not just experiencing the game, I am continuously feeling the need for more, providing feedback that potentially will be helping on driving its evolution. How awesome is that?

3. Creating my first HIVE-Engine token

I have actually thought about this at the beginning of 2020, but then a lot of mess up in my life got in the way. Making this long story short, I have been thinking about several ideas I would like to give some motion. Part of this process has already started and required me to do some changes in order to have a clear path ahead. Not so recently, I have updated my delegations here.

Since then, lots changed already and I have never thought this to be such an iterative process. It's really cool and scary at the same time, but I am sure that in the end, it will all be worth it.

3.1 All about 🤣AteXoras (ATX)

I have created @atexoras (an iconic name for me) that will present the token soon.

For the moment don't get crazy about this, please. I need time to get things in the right place. I just need a few days to find some time to rest, which I will enjoy along with family. Then, I will be back with something most likely before the end of the year.

4. New #HIVE UI's

I can't leave unnoticed some recently tested dapps UI's I have used within the last months. These are effectively narrowing the gap for easier onboarding of new users into #HIVE. Well done to all of them. And if you are a new one, welcome and let me know.

4.1 D.BUZZ

I have been using @forkyishere to express my virtues under this new dapp. And I am really happy about how it is evolving. Sick of being censored on #Twitter? Then you will like this one for sure, based on #HIVE.

On top of that, you can easily share the posts on #Twitter and provide extra exposure. Fun fact? It made me recall how much engagement is valued anywhere in the world. So why not to really curate that value right?

4.2 @dapplr (iOS and Android)

I was waiting for this one for some time. Some weeks ago, the iOS version became available via the "TestFlight App" and I could not miss the opportunity to discover the user experience for myself.

So far, super attractive and with lots of slick moves! I love the flow and the simple way of how things work. It just goes along the way user behaviour works and that just makes sense once you try it.

My quick 6th sense overview of this dapp is that it will empower a lot, travellers! The key features allow to seamlessly work with photos and videos, from a basic level to pro users, making almost negligible that you are working on top of the blockchain, which is a great challenge but a superb feat to accomplish.

There is always lots to improve, especially in terms of stability but the way to go is there. Keep the amazing job you guys are doing.

I will keep providing my feedback as usual. There is a couple of things I need to re-test and then come back with feedback to you, but aside of that, it is surely a great mobile-oriented UI you do not want to miss and should definitely give it a try.

4.3 WAIVIO

This was a fun find and I didn't actually found this one by research. It was like a random moment of bumping into a fly over your car windshield 😅. And what an interesting surprise it was. The motivation started on a challenge I found about your preferred mug. So, I decided to follow the motivation to further test the experience, which pretty much gave me a great overall feeling of the platform.

I was very positively impressed. Along the way, I pointed out some ideas and improvements to which I had a prompt reaction (and some are even already done). I can say they look like a very competitive team and are definitely focusing a huge amount of effort on quickly adapting to customer feedback (us #HIVE users).

Thanks a lot for this UI experience, @grampo. I will be back with more, once possible. Great job!

5. Awesome 😍 Events

5.1 #HiveFest 🕶️ 2020

That's right, tomorrow I will be joining my first HiveFest. Hopefully, the registration went all right, as I have received my code already via encrypted MEMO.

I have been trying to catch up with all the developments so far, even if asynchronously. I leave you with this video where @roelandp talks about some tips and details for presenters and to the attendants in general in order for us to have a great conference experience.

A couple of days ago, I have customized my avatar and tested the PC 2D version as failover option of the Oculus Quest, in case they decide not to cooperate. There is basically no excuse for everyone to show up, so I hope to see you there.

5.2 #Bitcoin - New 💎 Record Price

And I can't finish this post without commenting about what a day, today is. We have finally got to a new high of Bitcoin. First 🤑 $22000 USD at the time of this post writing which later on continued rising, passing the $23000 USD barrier (will it go higher?).

This is crazy awesome! These milestones are so important and at so many levels, simply because Bitcoin it's still one of the main price drivers of crypto in general. And that means crypto gets more attention, basically. Good for everyone.

I am pretty sure, now that it broke the "psychological barrier", that this is going completely go the volatile path for a couple of days. Any market reaction will drive lot's of fear in the next few days. On the other hand, if this becomes stable for a week, or even rise a bit more, then beware... at that point it's when moneymakers will try to fold to fool you out.

Either way, this is a pretty cool moment for cryptocurrencies don't you think? The very unvalued nature of crypto that follows Bitcoin price will spawn extra pressure for buyers and that might be a good sign for ALTs soon. Keep an eye on things. This game can be a very long one, but usually, it's worth it.

5.3 2021 America's ⛵ Cup

Today started America's Cup first races! These wind propelled boats are the latest technology of sailing, using foils to keep their drag to a minimum. Being able to reach 50 knots, makes you realize how much adrenalin is involved around sailing and seeing these wonderful breakthroughs flying over the ocean. Magically outstanding!

If you wanna follow the races, check out the YouTube channel bellow. They broadcast live from New Zealand. This was the first day of the PRADA America’s Cup World Series Auckland and the PRADA Christmas Race.

There will be 2 more days of races and then a final day to determine the winner of this particular event. Then back in January/February of 2021, there will be the PRADA Cup Challenger Selection Series, followed by the match for the 36th America’s Cup presented by PRADA in March. Check the event website for more details.

Every race is a massive event... if you have the luck to be watching this from Auckland in New Zealand, you are already making me very jealous.
