We have worked very hard on our roadmap to Berlin.

While everything is not yet ready, we are proud of what has been done.

New Website

Our new website can already be tested here .
And it will soon be pushed live on https://exode.io

Please remember not anything is final on it and we are still undergoing tests.
However, it can be used for testing the real stuff, for "real", and the new shop prices are now active!

The new website should come up live very soon now, in less than 24 hours!
We'll need your feedback once its live!

Ethereum can now get on HIVE!

---

On the new website ethereum wallets can now purchase content on EXODE and get their HIVE account to play. This means they can "onboard" and become HIVE new captains!

Emails can now register and login

---

You can bind your HIVE account to your email when signing up and getting on HIVE, and if you do you can use this email and password to sign in.

While this method is considered a bit obsolete for blockchain users we want to onboard non-blockchain people too and we believe this will help. They will still receive and use a HIVE account: and everything will be done with keychain too.

And thanks to our tutorial (below), they will have it installed.

So what's better than users thinking it "was easy", they could "avoid blockchain", then finding they received the blockchain without a thought, and that it was actually easy?

Also we believe the email can be useful to non-blockchain users, if only to help them get acquainted with HIVE by receiving some help.

New Keychain Tutorial!

Absolutely nothing is better to help players get on Hive than explaining how to install, set up and use Keychain. It's required to play, so people have to understand how to use it. So we have improved our ways to explain that right from the purchase experience, with an auto-activated inline tutorial.

This tutorial comes from our internal build but will be active with the new website!

New Evacuation Tutorial!

We have removed the previous tutorial and are refining a much better version.

You get accompanied by Galvin-3, predecessor of Galvin-4 in a very involved tutorial provided by the Space Federation.

This tutorial will become active when docking at the station.

New prices!

---

Players benefit from us proposing higher prices, thus setting a new price going forward and proposing an important valuation of existing player assets!

Alpha starters are now at 19.90 USD ( 10 USD ). And are now Limited Edition.
Alpha triple starters are now at 44.90 USD ( 20 USD ). And are now Limited Edition.
Beta boosters are now at 4.99 USD.
Beta starters are announced at 9.90 USD.
Beta contracts are now at 139 USD.

• Limited Edition: there is a soft cap to their distribution with 800 units for every single alpha starter and 300 (or 400, to refine) for the triple starter. Once soft cap is reached and we see it, we will remove them from available purchase, and this will be the end of their distribution.

• This means all other alpha starters are considered burned.
  We will only be able to give some set aside as rewards.

• Beta boosters will increase price at specific steps in beta. Right now we are in Technical Beta, we plan for boosters to go to 5.99 later down the road.

• Beta contracts have a new logic for price increase, detailed below.

For beta contracts, every time a soft limit of 42 units is reached, price will increase by 20 USD. People will know why we chose 42 as an "author tribute".

A soft limit means that the increase happens asynchronously. We do it manually when no lingering purchase is awaiting confirmation. This is to avoid wrong program interaction between purchase delays, paypal validations, payments being cancelled etc.

We plan to pause the contract increase until our Berlin speech, and possibly until June 14th, to allow Berlin players to access the "fresh offers" at the real price and also to allow technical testing.

Once this "grace period" is over, the contracts will increase price according to all purchases made!

New Pack Opening!

We have worked on a new pack opening experience:
and here is some little demo of it!

As it happened, one of our team members - Maya - has contributed to all three contents above, using our new tutorial script engine, and she made an amazing work on keychain and pre-evac.

We have so many things ready but one is missing:
and we want it badly.

The next pack opening to come is our beta starter opening.
It's our top priority right now.

Well, that, and the Berlin speech. And the payments and debugging.

We understand it's not practical to propose starters if new players can't play them right away (even if they'll get access to the EXODE demo) but as you can guess, compressing test time so much during the event might be the wrong thing to do. I'll do my best!

Other openings are also coming much closer now that we get the starters out and ready!

New Legendary characters!

---

Not exactly new ones, actually, but we will definitely work on revealing the existing Legendary characters (Mysterious AI, Mysterious Robot) during the second half of June. They received their art since some time but we still need to finetune their attributes.

They have superior synergy with beta (just like the Corporate Boss or almost all legendaries, but maybe even a little more), so we need to wait or progress on the entire beta booster collection to make sure we make the proper decisions on balance.

Speaking of beta boosters: their opening is coming closer every day, though we will begin opening with the beta starters.

New Big Moment for HIVE

We will announce EXODE publicly on Saturday June 10th, at 4:45 PM, during the Berlin WEB3 event.
The room will have a total of 800 seats.
And the screen will be huge.

For many people among Hive, this will be the first time they will discover EXODE.
And for all other players, we hope to mark their memory with someone lasting and positive.

We will also discuss blockchain games.

Because we believe blockchain games have a longterm value, so they need a longterm vision, and longterm committed developers to that longterm vision. They need a game with concepts able to make it last longterm. And lasting asset utility,

We are a total of 5 speakers and more Hivers coming to Berlin!

HIVE is going really strong and we will have an immense pleasure in discovering HIVE big actors, share what we are doing, and encourage them in what they do!

We will make another public post about our Berlin setup!
