Basic knowledge remains basic!

Did I quick summary of a textbook, precisely just one chapter of it which had 8 pages, though it is a basic knowledge.....lol

Was so bored last night I did not know what to do before sleeping.
Sharing this to know of you all could gain something from a summarized 8 page information.

Computer hardware means the physical partcof a computer related devices, and we have three main conpoments.
(CPU, memory and 1/0 devices)

The CPU: This is the central processing unit. It coordinates all actions that occur in the system and executes program instructions.
The (computer case): This is also a hardware unit of the coputer, it is usually constructed with aluminium combined with plastic, although wood has been used for specialized unit, and the most popular style of the computer is (ATX), but microATX and similar layouts become popular for a variety of uses.

The computer power supply: This PSU converts general purpose mains AC electricity to direct current for the other components of the computer.

The motherboard: This is also referred to as the system board or main board and often the motherboard will also contain one or more peripheral buses and physical connectors for expansion purposes.

The memory: The primary memory is the memory that is part of the computer itself and necessary for its functioning. And it consist of mainly two types ROM/RAM.

RAM: Random access memory is the internal memory of the CPU for storing data and program result, while the ROM: Read only memory is the memory that we can only read but cannot write on it. ROM also have different types... (MROM, PROM, EPROM, EEPROM). We also have the peripherals which are devices connected together to the computer externally and even when a peripherals device is disconnected the computer will still be able to work.

The keyboard: This helps in inputting data to the computer. It consists of keys that are capable of inputting alphabets, numbers and special characters.

The mouse: This is the pointing device and cursor control device having a small palm size box, and it helps to send corresponding signals to the CPU when the mouse buttons are pressed. Also the Monitor also called the VDU ( visual display unit). It forms images from tiny dots called pixels that are arranged in the rectangular form depending on the number of pixels.
The speaker is also another output device which is used to hear sounds played by a computer.

PC ( personal computer)
The use for personal computers at home is for working, playing games and surfing the internet. Pc is creates to be owned or to be utilized by one person at a time. Also the structure and capabilities of the computer allow it to be operated by an individual for personal purposes and can be a desktop or laptop device.
