Hi Everyone,
I am coming with my another Tasteem Contest post. In this post I am going to submit my Entry for Bakeries and Pastries Contest by @tasteem.
Went to visit O Kitchen, but unfortunately we were a tad bit too late and the kitchen was closed for lunch, so we ordered from Holey Artisan Bakery.
Location: Road 79, House 5, Gulshan 2. Main Location is given below the post. 1k to 1500/- on average per head should feed you well for both Holey and O kitchen.
I ordered a Rare Roast Beef Sandwich in Sourdough (600/-): Absolutely delicious, specially the bread itself, soft, crunchy and the most perfect hand-made sourdough i have had in a while. The combination of the red onion chutney and dijon made it better!
Friend ordered The Basque in a baguette (600/-), super fresh, roasted chicken in olive oil sauce- great stuff!
We shared a Creme Brulee Tart (300/-)
I am so glad to finally come across a place where they don't make tart bases which could kill people when thrown at them lol. Creme brulee was perfection as well, caramelization on point! and Freshly squeezed apple juice (300/-).
The interiors and exteriors are absolutely beautiful, the place is right next to the gulshan lake, so you can enjoy your time with the breeze from the lake! That bakery is a dream- the aromas from the fresh baked breads and desserts is mouthwatering. A perfect place for a date, or to just chill with your buddies and have a good chat! Based on ambiance, food quality, Well-informed, friendly service and location- worth the price. :)
Highly recommended! All rights reserved to @depressedsoul
