It’s almost tax season, so instead of stressing later, I decided to build now.

I’ve been working on a web based transaction exporter built on top of pharesim’s Hive CSV generator
https://github.com/pharesim/hive_tx_to_csv
What started as a simple script turned into a great real world test of my growing coding skills as a data science student. I’m taking an existing tool, understanding how it works, and extending it with a UI and automation so it’s usable by more than just people comfortable in a terminal.
This is exactly the kind of learning that sticks. Real data. Real constraints. Real utility.
Hive has always been one of the best environments to learn in public. You get open source tools, transparent data, and immediate feedback from people actually using what you build.

Still early, still iterating, but this is the direction I want to keep pushing in.
Practical tools. Real problems. Skills that compound.
More to come.
Ewe... taxes... I have a better plan... Tell them to go kick rocks...
