Hi Guys,

Hey guys back with my epic Tuesday shots. Here are some awesome shots I created over the weekend on Saturday night. I did do some post-processing to clean up the background. The setup slightly different, check it out below. I also added a gif to illustrate how the waterdrops are formed, pretty wicked. I integrated an instant coffee can to channel the flash into a specific direction. The solution consists of 1/3 milk to 2/3 water with some food coloring to color the liquid. Lens, 35-70mm 2.8f. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did creating them.

Equipment required:

  • Waterdrop value
  • Water + Milk + Food Coloring
  • Flash
  • Camera
  • Valve sync (Water valve -> Camera -> Flash)
  • New - Coffee Can :-)

Here is my setup:

Thank you very much :-)

Excellent work.

Thank you very much, every shot is unique. Its a controlled but not controlled environment at the same time, so you never know what you are going to get as a final product :-)

These are GORGEOUS ... something so simple, and yet so glorious! Well done!

Hey D, thanks for the feedback. Its very fun to shoot these images. It is a process, there are lots of shots that miss the mark.
