What Changed ?
We believe Aureal is a funnel for Hive ecosystem to get better adoption in terms of new users and vesting into hive blockchain as the targeted users are not really aware about the features of this ecosystem.
It becomes a dire need to simplify things for them, hence we went onto the redesign of the entire platform to better serve the need of the new users onboarding.

Aureal on iOS
We're currently making changes as they are being specified by app store for Aureal to get accepted there hence things are getting a little delayed, because apple being apple.
Query time optimisation
As the Aureal is mostly consumer facing revolving around communities, we're currently working on making the response time better, If you are an android user, you'll be able to see the performance upgrades for response time.
Last month has been hectic for us, as India is facing a disastrous second wave of Covid and half of our team has fought through it for a month and there are been delays.
We're more spirited to deliver and get the best experiences possible on Aureal for our users.

I just found out about Aureal on Marketsquare and immediately submitted my podcast (Strength In Business). I'm waiting for it to be linked to my profile on Aureal. I've been looking for ways that integrate podcasting into the blockchain ecosystem for quite some time now. LBRY recently added a new feature allowing audio podcasters to manually upload their podcasts -- it's a great step forward but still very tedious. The fact that you can pull all episodes in by providing you with the RSS feed is absolutely dope! This is phenomenal and the new layout for Aureal 2.0 looks stunning. Hi @blockanarchist1, it looks like the tool is quite buggy as it's in the early stages. I can't access the show on Aureal although it's searchable and it hasn't been attributed to my profile. I have over 100 active episodes; will these be published now randomly on Aureal / Hive?

We're looking into it right away.
You can choose too publish the episodes manually, but anytime when you publish a new episode anywhere, the new episode gets published automatically.
Also only the new episodes are published automatically, the episodes prior to that gets published as per your convenience. The team has immediately started looking into it, I would love to have a chat with you to find and rectify this bug, What the best way to connect with you ?
OK, it looks like things are quite messy as the episode that got published is from February 2018 and I haven't done anything to publish it on Hive. It was chosen randomly, totally out of the blue it seems.

Hey @kriszrokk, We found the issue. It's the first time we had a podcast on Hive which had more than 200 episodes. We've rectified the issue and releasing the update in a day. You won't find it so messy anymore. Moreover, any new episode from now on will get published, and you'll have the option to publish your previous episode at your will.

Furthermore, I'd like to point out two more issues:
My recent episode from 2 days ago wasn't fetched automatically as you mentioned. It doesn't show on Aureal and it wasn't published to Hive either. Can you please look into the issue?

I also see an issue in regards to the order episodes are displayed on Aureal. The most recent show should be displayed first, not the oldest. This is how centralized podcatchers such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Amazon Music & Co. are doing it and it's a very good practice. It would be great if you could raise this issue in your team and fix it as well.

To look into this issue further, can you please let me know the hosting provider you're using ?
Also the team as noted this issue, we'll have this rectified within a day.

The recent episode was now published to both Aureal and Hive (2 hours ago). I'm using Blubrry as a host.

Hey @blockanarchist1, love the dark mode ;) The new version looks a lot better than the old one; good job! The Live room will really set you apart from the centralized providers. Great add-on to have. One thing that still bothers me is the fact that all my episodes are displayed in reverse order; that is the oldest shows first (except the last release that was pulled after our last chat). Could you please look into this? I appreciate it. Thank you!
