As a long time commenter I hope your incentive for people to leave real and meaningful comments work out for all of us. In some respects it is a shame incentives have to be added for people to leave comments, but such is life on the block chain.
Engagement is the best ways for people to find each other and content to enjoy. Also comments add so much more to a post, they draw others in and draw the author out to maybe expand on a concept or a specific part of their own post. Plus they are just plain assed fun to read sometimes.
Hi @bashadow,
I'm so grateful for your comment.
Your insightfulness into what motivates us to be human on this blockchain is telling.
I really want to use #CometWeek and the @Comet.Ranker service to highlight what's best about people... and I want to make a point with the hopes that I am able to send ripples of change throughout the Hive community.
Social Capital is far far more important than Financial Capital.
Not that the later isn't important at all... But more concisely that all Financial Capital follows and flows from true, authentic, and genuine human connection.
All community is a derivative of the time we take to comment and care.
This is the virtuous cycle of good that's captured implicitly within the token price of Hive.
The sooner we collectively mature and wiseUP to this... the sooner we will improve our social environment. The sooner we can do that the sooner we all begin winning again... TOGETHER!
Thank you for taking the time to comment my friend.
Your words have reached me.
@wil.metcalfe
There are a lot of people that do enjoy making and reading comments. I see more and more comments it seems everyday on post and peoples pages that I visit, so culturally we may be growing a little bit.
I certainly hope that what your seeing is the change that needs to happen!
Let's keep commenting for a friendlier Hive! ☄️
