Crafting with Blooms

in #hive8 months ago

The spring paint this tapestry full of colored and smells, in nature so to say it is entering a phase of the rebirth out of the winter slumber. Having been infused by the joy of spring, I engaged myself into a creative journey of expression with handcrafted papers decorated with the fragile petals and lush foliage.

I have headed to roof garden, my veranda and the surrounding streets to gather a mix of blossoms that speak for the season's abundant presence here. Either they were drawn just because of their beauty or they had to be cherished as genuine and heartfelt presentations. Carrying a multitude of buds, I went out, taking with me nothing but plain paper which I suddenly saw as a flower paradise - one sheet of paper, a smaller Garden of Eden.

Equipped with glue, scissors and the colorful petals, I began the slow and meticulous art of twisting the flower elements to my liking. The stem was then placed very carefully, whereas the petals inked, with the help of brush, until the paper became an arrangement of colors and textures resembling the vital tones of spring.

To my greatest delight I refrained from inhibitions and surveyed in amazement unfolding before my view. Previously, nothing of great significance was on a piece of paper. Now the sheet represents nature’s grandeur and sophistication. Not any specific flower stands out in the picture; The softly white blossoms of cherry trees to the vibrant shine of sunflower. Each flower has a piece of its own in this composition, making a musical hypnosis of color and fragrance that speaks to the existence of spring.

When working with paper flowers, I realized my bond with the mother nature is in the fact that she gives us such wondrous pleasures everywhere we look as well as the necessity of loving and protecting all her. Each petal and leaf was as if it was a living exhibit of the complexity and vivacity of nature and at the same momentical proof of the trials, life and revival that the cycle of seasons consists of.

As I finished the respective masterpieces, the pervasive grips of euphoria and delightedness swallowed me up. I lavishly made each work, probably just admiration for the beauty of budding and the miracles of nature. The use of floral patterns on the wrapping papers of the gifts of spring and on the strive of recollection of the blooming charm that is wrapped in each bloom was the expression of the eternal buzz of spring.

That's it, floral paper was not only an artsy hobby, but also an amazing journey of finding out and exploring nature's charms. As I bloomed along with nature in the peak of spring and the new life reveiled within and around me, I remembered the value of closely embracing Mother Nature and seeking the eternal beauty within.
