Yeah, i was unaware that if you get a new account through Esteem app then you have 0 in your account. This is a bad design.
I've used https://hiveinvite.com/ (pharesim's) recently to collect a claimed account which can then be used to create an account for someone. Still got fuel the account with some HP though.
you know, I tried over ten times to make an account that way, claiming one, and it didn't work. might try it again now. I think it's confusing tho, so the esteem app way seems the easiest still
Have you got enough HP to claim an account?
I agree, it's not totally straight forward but does work. The dapps have the HP though and should make on-boarding super easy.
no I was talking about trying to get a new account through that invite page, where people put up a link for noobs. it didn't work for me. i am currently testing out all the account creation tools so i can write a proper tutorial for noobs.
