Hey Hivers!
I've been mostly offline this past week, in part because of the recent passing of my aunt. However, I noticed a couple of pings in my GINAbot notifications from people who've participated in @streetstyle's awesome Hive Power Up Day initiative in the past (hi @brittandjosie & @jeanlucsr!), and thought I'd see what's up.
Then I realized it's way past the time that @streetstyle usually puts out his announcement post, and from what I can tell, he hasn't been very active much this past month (other than dropping a surprise 1k delegation on me - oh yes, I almost forgot to say, THANK YOU! 😊 ).
I'm not really sure what's going on (and I hope all is well with you, dear man), but I know one thing - Power Up Day started to show our commitment to our blockchain home, and there's no reason we can't still do that! How? Here's the rundown, from the last official announcement post...
What is HIVE-PUD-INTL & How Will It Help?
HIVE-PUD-INTL stands for HIVE POWER UP DAY INTERNATIONAL, (HIVE-PUD) takes place the first day of every month.
On this day:
• We ask that all that are able to POWER UP any amount of HIVE COIN they have on HIVE-PUD-INTL day.
• We ask accounts that are currently Powering Down, to put a Stop on Powering Down for that Day, and if desired to commence the Power Down the following day.
• We ask that those that trade or sell Hive, to Not Sell or Trade Hive on HIVE-PUD-INTL Day, but to do it the day before or after if possible. Also, to cancel any type of Sell Order on the Exchanges.
The prizes are meant to incentivize the smaller members of the HIVE, the young bees looking to turn blogging nectar in honey for the HIVE. By Powering Up Hive coins into Hive Power, members of the HIVE show support for the HIVE BLOCKCHAIN and the HIVE Community while helping to grow their own account as well.
PLEASE NOTE - These are the prizes that were offered last month. I'm not sure who confirmed their prizes again for this month, so this list isn't official. In fact, if I can't figure out how to track all the power ups, it might be easier to just skip the prizes this month, but we'll see what happens over the next few days.

So that's it, folks - if you'd like to show support for the Hive blockchain this month, either power up on June 1st, or temporarily halt any of your power downs. If I can figure out how to pull together a winner's list & if people are still offering prizes, I'll do my best to get it all done. One thing I know for sure - I'm still wicked bullish on Hive and our blockchain home, and I'm excited for all the awesomesauce potential I see for us.

My condolences Tracy and in these covid times extra hard with all the rules, i hope you can find a place for the loss.
For the HIVE PUD i think we all have to be there for @streetstyle, he is alwys active so there must be a very legitimate reason for this.
We will hope all sponsors will be there for the eligible power uppers , i join in but i am not eligible because of rep and hp but want to set an example for our redfisralliers and terminalers.
Let keep the hope he is ok and will join us again

So sorry for your loss @traciyork, my prayers are with your family in this difficult time. I was just doing my own #hpud post and realised @streetstyle had gone #awol - well done for picking up the #hpud torch and keeping it burning I'm sure one way or another everyone that does Power Up Hive will receive their rewards.
