Yes, you remember right & I totally agree with you. Losing my stuff would be the kind of worst case. This has to be a topic in my mind. One benefit here in Paraguay is - in the opposite of for example Germany - here you can place private cameras with view onto public areas without anybody is complaining about. Many people mount them on public electricity poles, too, because this may have a good view - and nobody is complaining. Cameras aren't the "set them up & all fine", but a lot of people say that, when you set them right without the possibility of manipulation, it is a good way to prevent things.

Since I had the trouble on my property I use some recording & live streaming IP cameras with a battery buffer, motion detection, alarm on the smartphone, possibility to talk back and stuff like this. Actually right now there are several boxes in the process of being packed & waiting for shipping to Paraguay - so a good possibility to include a few more cameras and more equipment within the security system from this brand.

Later today I will visit another location which I really like, which would be in second floor, reachable thru a staircase and a longer balcony, which is a benefit, I think. Plus it's the last place on this balcony. So there is no traffic from visitors of other businesses from this house. Plus this place is viewable from more or less the whole space of the biggest plaza here in the city... And it's aside a main road... This would be a good thing. For sure you will see some pics of it in the next post.

Thank you for your thinking and your feedback! It is highly welcome, because it really helps to have more thoughts on the topic. I also talk to every person I know about this topic to get meanings, feedback, insights and so on. So you are really welcome!

Servelle, Hive a great day, thank you for your comment & all the feedback!
